21 Types of Negative Friends
There is no crystal ball to predict that a particular friend will turn out to be a reliable, positive relationship in your life or, by contrast, that a negative association will cause you emotional distress, or worse. Since destructive or negative friends are not always that easy to spot, it may be a time to reevaluate your current friends, as well as to reassess past or potential friendships.
1. The Promise Breaker Constantly disappoints you or breaks promises

17. The Therapist Needs to analyze everything and give you advice
18. The Interloper Overly involved in your life
19. The Copy Cat Imitates you
20. The Controller Needs to dominate you or the friendship
21. The Caretaker Needs to be a friend's keeper, mother or nursemaid, rather than an equal.
You may recognize some of the 21 traits in yourself or in a friend, but the occurrence may be so rare or so minute that it does not pose a problem...
God defend me from my friends; from my enemies I can defend myself.

I think its important to note at this point that none of these characteristics can be attributed to my friends (thank-God). They're more so common among my familiars (you know people whom you chat to sometimes but wouldnt count as friends).
E20: you'd be surprised what some people are willing to put up with. As Omrow so rightfully said turning other cheek.
Me personally ... i had a 16/18 a while ago. I only came to know him thru university... and he needed my help... but became too clingy... so i became 13.
Unfortuneately he always thought i was joking or trying "run away from him" so never really took the hint.

According to the Sufi’s the worst type of friend is the one who doesn’t point out the errors of your ways…it’s the one who doesn’t ever point out your mistakes.

You started your sentence with a prepositional phrase, you forgot a space after the elipses, you have a redundant clause and there is no apostrophe in the plural of Sufi.

21 Types of Negative Friends
people tend to associate with the wrong crew...
irreligiousness of ones friend is most likely the cause of ones own irreligiousness.
i my-self stopped associating with alot of my mates because you get influenced big time.
rasulullah s.a.w said, "a person is on the religion of his friend.therefore a person should see who he associates with" (abu dawood)

I hate you all.
To be honest I will need to re-evaluate whether I am still number13...
I have become more mellow over the past couple of years. I am polite now...
I am pretty honest to most people though. I find most people conceited. I can say that to their faces. There are a few to whom I keep my silence...

Its the smell. When I was classifying humans, I made a discovery. Humans are not mammal. mammals in a natural harmony with their surroundings.
Humans move to a location and multiply. They consume all the resources, and to survive they move elsewhere and keep multiplying. There is another organism with the same traits. A virus.

You’re obviously from another planet….
Theres also The User, the kind of friend who only uses you for money, transport, convenience, etc etc......for me personally this is a very BAD trait in freinds
Wow looking at that list really makes you think, im getting a bit concerned that some of the traits listed might apply to me
Dont get me wrong i think im a very good freind but sumtimes i do break promises, (not huge promises but like "i promise i will come round yours tomorow" but dont go round for another week)
And sometime and analyse a situation and do give advice but thats not really that bad is it? Unless its constant
Im glad that looking at that list i can say i have some very good freinds but also some who can probably change their ways a bit
