I am Boring
I have come to terms with the fact, I dunt really have much fun, my favorite pastime for the past 7 monthes has been reading books. Reading is considered uncool, and im spose to be cool, so not many people know this so sssshhhhh
Other than that, i play xbox every now n then, same ol game tho, always pro evo. but that gets boring cuz i easily beat my bro, n no fun playin comp.
So as of late, this forum kills my time well (no offense ).
The only time i hav a fun tym is when im with m cuzns or friends, n sheesha is top of the list of places to go.
So people, whats ya favorite pastimes. Dunt be shy, we all kno im the Coolest Cat on here, so no need to be shy.

I actually prefer Listening to speeches by the Like of Hamza Yusuf, Zaid Shakir, Nu Ha Mim Keller etc. Not as much effort required to listun.
And, You are very uncool, take my word for it .[/color]

cant beat that - Admin is officially the most boring person on the planet :!:
Salaam
Reading is my favourite pastime. I read anything. If I'm feeling "intellectual" I'll read a book on Sufism or psychology....If I'm feeling shallow I'll read a girly fashion magazine.
I also love eating out in nice restaurants. But its not a "past time" because I don't have the time or money to do that regulary.
I LOVE being in a group of friends whoI'm close to. I love the discussions we often have...
I used to be into films...I also used to be into playing playstation-the sonic and Crash games...
I also waste a lot of time on the Revival.
Wasalaam
lol - i think that goes 4 most of us :!:
Play cricket....
Back in BLACK
And to think we would have believed you if it was summer!

Nothing wrong with reading books, the buzz i get from reading and learning something new is brillant, there nothing better IMO.
My favourite past time is probably on the internet at the mo, if i not on the forum, i reading or listening or watching some islamic stuff, mainly islam channel. Guidance media have some really good downloads at the moment as does Nadeem lightuponlight. Keeping up with news and football and Boxing.
At the moment play abit of badminton, probably once a week, but apart from that, no sporting activities. Summer i get more active i guess. Having stupid discussion outside the mosque in the freezy cold weather, is becomeing a increasing habit as well which for some reason i enjoy. I also have to mention Lost, Great Program.

Thinking is a fantastic pastime. Especially if your on the bus...or in the compay of some boring person.
Most of the time when I'm thinking something I write/type it down. And then they usually become articles or threads.
To kill tym i play ps2 o gamecube o psp wid ma lil bro,
chill meanin lisen 2 music o speeches by abdul malik o nasheeds,
go out, ave sum sheesha 4 a laff,
n most of all spend tym wid ma bswt m8.
Tha important stuff is lyk praying salah wen its tym n readin da Quran wen i can dats bout it.

lol, that so true. I do that all the time, it only take the littlest thing to set me off and i am in my own world for a couple of hours, but thinking too much bring along it own problems as well.

any of you guys keep a spiritual diary? It may sound kinder american to you but it's not really. You can take a religious perspective if you want. Write down the new blessings you have each day, charitable act you did, how you could have improved yourself that day, the good traits that you displayed that day versus bad ones etc etc.
It can help you to better yourself, get your emotions out, and find a new sense of gratitude for all the bounties Allah (swt) has given you.
A lot of sufis, Christians and Jews do this sort of thing.
wow thats a pretty good idea!
I used to have a diary but only wrote in it when i was really emotional and that was like every 4-6 months, i threw it away or its inside somewhere. I would die if anyone read it!
