I didnt read the whole article, skim read. But yes, if a woman dresses immodestly and gets dishonoured then to [i]some[/i] degree it is her fault but at same time the blame and guilt does not decrease from the male one iota.

I hope there is no tit-for-tat retailation of any type going on!

I just visited the Islam: Global Message Forums, and we seem to have a number of articles posted recently, with a folowup post giving a link...

Oh and topics sugested by 123/Abd: I would rather concentrate on the men.

Let women concentrate on other women.

Its sounds hypocritical for men to keep banging on about how women must act, whilst we men are breaking almost every rule imaginable, and far more openly then the women.

i now its interesting! but maybe down the line they will make her marry some American Soldier and then eventually get her to get rid of the Jilbab!!! so i wont be to happy!

However x-men is a very deep comic. It has a lot of meaning.

Its a discussion of racism if anyone did not know.

check out dust in [url=http://www.newsarama.com/Marvel/Hellions/Hellions01_02.jpg]this[/url] pic, i had to look closely to notice her... she's dressed proper islamically, no apparent westernisation there... wow, i'm impressed (and possibly naive in this case, who knows)

lol google resizes its pics, keep ur cursor on the pic for a sec, and a lil orange box shud appear on the bottom right hand corner (clik on it -it expands the pic to its actual size). then ul b able to read the names of the characters in the speech bubbles, and see her more clearly.

incidentally, her islamic 'get-up' is obviously more of an arab U.A.E style thing, as opposed to the Afghani 'burka'.

btw admin i didn mention the pic in ur link coz it makes her clothing seem much less islamic than in other pics (they need to make up their mind!)... :roll:
