WHAT DID YOU EAT TODAY THREAD

Ramz

Yeah I'm bored.

Admin dont delete this thread. I think it'll be intresting if everyone lists ALL the things they ate that day.

There's a saying "You are what you eat". I'm really into cooking and calorie counting so I want everyone to daily list all that they eat. I'll be back in Uni in the next few days so this comfort food thread will keep me occupied.

I want to see how healthy is people's diet. How many people over eat and how many hardly eat at all.

I don’t like the taste of olives; I’ve tried them so many times. My family loves them. We always have the black and green ones with dinner…

It is sad. They're so pretty and good for you. Also its a blessed fruit (is it a fruit?) in Islam.

I wished I liked them...but I am a fan of figs.

yashmaki — Wed, 4 Jan 2006 - 16:41

better late than never so here goes:

Yesterday i had:

Breakfast: Bowl of porridge, tea, and 1 slice of wholemeal toast with margarine.

midmorning snack: Fresh fruit juice and packet of crisps...i was starving. Only have crisps if i'm really hungry otherwise it's a fruit juice or cold milk and piece of fruit.

Lunch: Lamb with cabbage curry (mild) with rice, followed with bangladeshi prawn kofta curry (no other prawns will suffice not the same tastelol, gotta get my daily fish fix), and salad on the side. Two large glasses of water to wash it down.

Fruit or yoghurt after that: fresh lychees woohoo

Tea time: nothing missed it was on the road home. Usually fruit, or cup of tea with biscuits.

Dinner:
Chicken spinach bunna curry with rice (tis one of my fave dishes yum yum), followed with rohu fish (bangla one again) cooked with small beans (like broad runner beans but mini size, forgot the english name). 2 large glasses of water.

Fruit: Strawberrys and red grapes and glass of cold milk before bed.

I also hate fizzy drinks, fried foods make me feel sick so i avoid them.
Also hate olives. I have tried my best to eat them but other than good old olive oil i can't down fresh olives. They're just too pungent for me.

In weekends cook up non indian dishes.

Not mad about sweets or chocs have them occasionally. Prefer sweets though.

Ok so how do i rate healthy unhealthy ????

Thats very healthy Yashmaki, although they say you should avoid water with food, should always have it half an hour before or after, but im not one to talk!

Chicken and Spinach is my fave dish aswell!

I had a apple tunover for breakfast, and some pilau rice with boneless chicken for lunch, crisp packet and some pepsi!

Do i sense some sarciness (is that how its spelt?) from what you wrote sis? 😂

Yeah i know its the Sunnah of the Prophet (S.A.W), its just the way i talk, but yeah nutrionists and dietcians also advise this many many many years after our Prophet (S.A.W)
