Omrow

Dave

Omrow has always been on the forum. We don't precisely know where Omrow comes from, what Omrow intends to do with himself for the next 40 years or precisely what events transpired to create an "Omrow"

I'm somewhat convinced Omrow isn't even a real name - based solely on the fact that it appears to be so rare that the only person with the name "Omrow" in all of Yahoo... is Omrow.

No two words can describe Omrow better than "Salaam, Omrow" - the formulaic beginning and end of all of his short double spaced posts.

We are all pretty sure that we like Omrow's presence even though we are never sure if he is being incredibly sarcastic - or is some sort of genius that we just don't quite understand.

We were once deprived of Omrow for several months while his family attempted to marry him off in Pakistan. Just when we had given up believing we would ever see him again - Omrow returned, brideless and apparently not entirely sure how much time had elapsed.

Omrow is a bit of a mystery - over the years we have learned this much about him:

He is probably male.
His name might be Omrow.
He is a muslim.

In celebration of the mystery of Omrow - I have only this to say:

Omrow - I salute you.

Dave is kind of snobby I guess, but for someone in his situation and his upbringing he ain't as snobby as u would expect someone to be, he also very down to earth as well. That was me trying to be neutral

Anyway Omrow is a funny one, he definitely a snob. The blog funny. I always thought it was a act, but maybe it isn't. He definitely knows the Revival team, i remembering him knowing when Ed got married, which he couldn't have know, if he didn't have some sort of connection, plus he join the forum right from the start.

Omrow — Sat, 10 Dec 2005 - 14:23

Thank you don. You really shouldn't have done all this for me.

You — Sat, 10 Dec 2005 - 15:06

I do not know who Omrow Is.

I doubt it if really Ed knows either. However he has a nack to start talking to people on the bus who have turned out to be posters...

He is from manchester, so he may know Ed...

Sirus — Sat, 10 Dec 2005 - 17:22

...and i wasnt invited?:|

You — Sat, 10 Dec 2005 - 18:30

I have not met many from the forums.

I know Ed, have met Seraph, and Hayder.

Yuit has probably seen me, as he said he saw the Revival team at the manchester Unity conference... I have no idea who he is.

Apart from that everyone is greek to me.

I would not really like to meet the forumites.

Not because they are not good, but because it would bring me downto earth. People like me atm. That would probably change abit.

And when Hayder met me, he kept calling me admin.

Sirus — Sat, 10 Dec 2005 - 18:34

yeah, i still do 😂

you shall forever be remembered as the loner admin......

wel...ive met quite a lot of people from the forum....

That true, because you brough half them here with you thats why.

I kind of saw Ed, admin and hayder, I think at the Manchester event, but if they were to put into a line up, i wouldn't know who they are. But it is a scary feeling when you realise the peopel who you chat to the internet actually exist, don't ask me why though.

Cool, how about at MICS?

Also Dave, you still haven't apologised for amking me think I'd scared 'a simple' Farmer from 'East Sheffield' off.

Also I should have read and guessed it was a fake in 'new memebers' because, You are not allowed to Have the name 'Muhammad' as a non first name, if it is in your name.

😢

lol you actually fell for that too!??

Wow I thought I was being sarcastically obvious the whole time....

Especially when you posted the farmer picture...

I'm sorry Dawud!

judda — Mon, 12 Dec 2005 - 09:12

Dave and Omrow brand wahhabis as terrorists, I demand an apology from both of you  :!:

judda — Mon, 12 Dec 2005 - 10:33

lol dave i remember on the old forum u did a thread wanting nutcase exHT back on the forum, why did you do it? and why did you not ever call him a terrorist?

100man — Mon, 12 Dec 2005 - 14:14

Judda can speak as a Wahhabi and it is best to carry no prior assumptions, whether or not he says things typical of Wahhabis.

Judda, surely you cannot just 'demand' and expect an apology. What if you don't get one?

Judda isn't a wahabbi - he's nothing remotely like a wahabbi... it gets a rise out of people so he says he is.

judda — Mon, 12 Dec 2005 - 14:30

this is what Yuit sed on one of my locked threads...
It a funny question.

Too me there are two main type of wahabbi, one that follow closer to the Shariah, these are the ones that keep long beards, girls are niqaabi and follow as close to the salaf as possible, these are the one that don't mind being call Salafies as well.

The you have the other ones, who will walk into Resturant and ask if the meat is halal and then order wine. These seem the one who try to be abit more modern and inteperate the Quran too suit their modern western needs.
Now can I have my apology?

Dave — Mon, 12 Dec 2005 - 14:33
