Anyone familiar with Liverpool?

Assalamualaikum,

I'm going to Liverpool for the first time tomorrow (won tickets to Anfield:) but I also wanted to see the 'Muslim' areas of the city, if indeed there were any.

Is anyone familiar with the city and can recommend areas to go to? Also does Liverpool have a main central mosque? Would love to visit it if there was.

they just look like a rough bunch

and every1 one knows areas like Croxteth and a few others are rough

but if your at the stadium and the city centre, you should be ok

I believe that Liverpool had the first ever mosque in the uk and one of teh earliest communities, It was there before the Woking one I believe. Don't know where you going to find the mosque as i never been to Liverpool, but with the timing of matches currently, u going to have to read at least one in the Stadium somewhere. It probably best to ring up beforehand and ask. You can find some intruction on this following page, don't know how helpful it will be, but there seem to be at least 3 mosques in Liverpool.
