Muslims, The West and the media

judda

In the Global Unity event Imran Khan did an excellent speech saying the west has conspired its people to turn against Muslims. One guy even suggested that this was world war three!!! I remember on Omrows 9/11 anniversary thread Admin put Omrow straight by saying it was just a terrorist attack (like the one in Oklahoma) and told him not to differentiate it by saying it was “done by Muslims”. I remember Dave was quick to say “stop this not Islam fault!” and his post also said “you must know your enemy”. When I told Dave about the ridiculous amounts of sects I discovered on Google he said “how and even why should the USA distinguish you from Bin Ladin and the Islamists….we don’t know what we are dealing with at this point”.

Do you feel that the media is turning the west against Muslims?

Do you believe that this “fanatical Islam” is a political dream and that every society has its fanatics?

Do you feel that Britain and America are creating the terrorism problem like the treaty of Versaille caused the rise of Hitler?

BTW do you feel that Vectone and Al-jazeera are manipulating Muslims to turn against the Jews?

I would be interest in hearing all your views….

The media is sensationanlist.

It will always towards the direcion giving the bigger headline. And the aimis viewing figures. ratings.

Accuracy is a mute point.

Sirus — Tue, 6 Dec 2005 - 23:44

in the media.....whoever shouts the loudest gets heard

and them radicals make themself heard, whilst many decent muslims dont speak out infortunately

so maybe the media aint to blame

but maybe they are, they have hidden agenda's

dont take Vectone seriously

I don't think we can complain.

We The Revival are now a part of the media.

maybe not mainstream... but we are either part of the problem or part of the solution.

Sirus — Wed, 7 Dec 2005 - 00:59

the whole london day trip, he was beaten at his own game 😂

You — Wed, 7 Dec 2005 - 01:10

By 'the spokesman'. Zahid Maqbool.

There is a reason why he is the spokesman.

he has a unique style of talking. very memorable. tell him what to say, and he will say it better than anyone else.

and he has a lot of varied experiences to talk about.

Sirus — Wed, 7 Dec 2005 - 01:11

i know....trust me....and you dont have to tell him what to say

I asked a kafir friend of mine how they would handle the “terrorism” problem…
Well I think the operating word there is "handle." Terrorism won't ever go away but its frequency, damage, and effects can be dampened with a few steps. We need a change in doctrine in how we fight war to make political considerations and not military considerations the primary result. We need to prevent situations in which terrorism grows and thrives - such as failed states, and this can be done through more open trade negotiations. We also need a stronger more proactive international security community willing to integrate police forces across the world - since on the ground level this really is best handled by policing rather than military means. I think some wise steps in the near future for my country would be joining the trilateral commissions North American security zone which would open borders, trade, and integrate security between canada the US and Mexico.

There is a lot that needs to be done... can't really answer it without an indepth discussion and consideration of present steps being taken.
Is that a logical solution?

well the BBC NEVER EVER speak up about the stuff Palastinians have to go through in thier day to day life, infact they make the Israilies sound like victims! Then they try to blame our imams/Mosques/Madrassahs when suacide bombings in Israil happen. They also want to shut our Mosques down. They NEVER EVER show the mess they have created of Iraq...etc. etc. etc.
