Fore those of you who don't know, this guys speciality is comparative religeion (I think) and he can quote verses from about 5/6 diffirent Holy (scriptures) books WITH REFERENCES totally off the cuff.

Not bad, especially when you see it for the first time.

Gentleness and kindness were never a part of anything except that it made it beautiful, and harshness was never a part of anything except that it made it ugly.

Through cheating, stealing, and lying, one may get required results but finally one becomes

Rather a damp squib.

White Pearl Suite should stick to hosting weddings.

Almost double the capacity of the hall had to be sent back due to lack of space and 'health and safety'. (Me included  )

oh well, at least you got a Blue Peter badge. Dirol

Gentleness and kindness were never a part of anything except that it made it beautiful, and harshness was never a part of anything except that it made it ugly.

Through cheating, stealing, and lying, one may get required results but finally one becomes

Everything else pales in comparison.

wahabi?...

Read the rules Wink

Its not an aqeedah Issue, so it does not matter either way.

As a followup, in the Manchester UNITY conference, his talk was (supposedly... I did not listen to it... we were panicking trying to find out where the organisers had dumped the goody bags.... along with a few thousand The Revival magazines...) how Madhabs were the reason for disunity...

He is very good on his field. Which is comparative religion/modern society etc.

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

True he is excellent in comparitive religions, but when it comes to personal views etc he is a bit of a controversial figure, and controversial for the wrong reasons

please don't call us 'wahabis', it is shirk to call us that, i don't mind the members in the forum calling me that since they commit shirk anyway! however please refrain from using the word 'wahabi' we're called SALAFIS.
