am I the only one who is finding it tricky to keep account of everyone?

on the old forums, the id was the first username. on here it is numerical, so you have to look at a few posts before figuring it out.

So can all regulars bookmark this topic.

and post their names when they change so its easier to see who is who.

(Unless you change for a reason to hide your identity from potential newcomers... like averoes... erm... I mean enver... what is he called today?)

A little tirick my computer-friendly friend taught me was to hold the mouse over a 'link-to-them' (the name, if its written as an author or last post) or (the pm or profile button at the end of one of their posts).

The number you see (don't know if this is exclusive to Internet Explorer) at the bottom of the window in that grey bit that shows when a page is loading (on 56k it does 😃 ) is called the User ID and generally speaking they can't be changed unless you create a whole new account.

Dave's User ID is: 96
Hayder's " " " :69
Irfghan's " " is:6
Dawud (i.e. me) is: 99

These are the people who commonly change their names, hope it helps. 😃
