lol do you know who Steve Balmer is?

the guy who kicked a chair at the mention of Google?

well on the other hand Microsoft and yahoo have started a competing project... to do the same thing! so google or no google, we will get the service...

But microsoft does not seem to 'get' the internet...

lol yea I heard he actually threw it at the guy who was going to google - there is a lawsuit about it.

Ever seen the online video clips of him at shareholder meetings?

Psssssssssssssssssssssssycho

You're right about Microsoft, they seem to be bankrupt for ideas - after the miserable failure of their Passport (which I thought was a good... though impossible to work out idea) they have just been recycling the same nonsense.

Maybe they are banking on Longhorn to take them into the next decade?

maybe... but for us lot I do not see anything that is really needed.

xp is good enough.

The reason people have rushed so far is because the previous pap was awful.

Do not mention windows ME. I had that. It crashed if I clicked reply in email!

lol yea ME was a waste of time - it effectively killed the windows series didn't it?

I heard XP is actually technically a continuation of Windows NT.

Whatever that is

Admin why aren't you working in IT or something like that?

Call center seems like such a waste of your talents and interests

It is.

However I have this little problem called lack of motivation.

lol I take it all back - you should be a day trader

Admin, perhaps you should do any old work apart from working in a call centre. It is a pointlessly high-pressure job, a depressing environment, a particular waste of talent, and it did not (for me) help financially allowing time to spare for bigger things. I bet the motivation thing is behind you, someone else's diagnosis, and isn't really 'the source of all your problems' so to speak. Guessing.

It is a self diagnosis.

I have never been motivated. At all.

Call centres are a waste of time and talent.

So I need to figure out what I wanna do, and get working on that.

The problem being I do not know.

There is another problem of flattery. Alot of people think I am extraordinary. So I can get away with not doing things. even at school. half an hour late? it don't matter. not done homework? who cares. at college and uni, not atended lectures? he'll still know more than the rest...

So between the two, I have decided i am a failure. But that does not seem to bother me. Some peiople succeed. other fail. both can be happy. both can be unhappy.

I'm tellin ya - day trader.

You check your computer ever hour or so and decide which direction to sail for the day.

Self employed

work at your own hours

and in this market there is a fair shot you could do well.

Just buy Exxon hahahaha

Admin, sounds a bit familiar, I stand by my advice.

mr admin who thinks ur extra-ordinary?

alot of people. It does get annoying. It also makes you feel bad. Not bad enough to do anything though...

person1: 'hey here check this guy I know. He is the cleverest guy I know blah blah blah blah'
person 2: Can't wait to meet him. what does he do?
person 1: works in call centre
person 2: but i got a better job than that...

I have a small plan. Save up some money. Then I can decide what to do.

Ain't gonna happen. Quit being extraordinary, just be adequate. I am not saying to give up on your dreams, just to quit being a tit.

dreams? I do not have any grandiose plans.

Quite being a tit? I have to agree with you.

But I need to decide what i want to do first...

No, you don't! I'm sure you have more than enough commitments that if you do them adequately instead of dicking everyone around with your stupid excuses, you will rediscover the extraordinariness of your very early youth, when you would count to three and everyone clapped.

Work-wise, perhaps get thee to an agency, explain you're done blagging, you want to help people somewhere in return for some money, not sales or call centres.

spoilt brats? hmmm

dont want to sound sexist, but its usually the guyz that are the worse in the families, i know what im talking about

the amount of disrespect that comes from ma bro is unbeleievable

if you see me in the newspapers for murder, dont be suprised

he has now gotten it in to his stupid head he wants to go Oldham Sixth Form (for anyone who knows what sort of college it is, u'll no why my parents are saying no)

what are the chances of coming out of Oldham sixth form without turning into a crack addict?

ma parents have never denied him anything, but they've decided to put their foot down

better late then never i suppose

why r guyz such............

On the other hand Oldham 6th form does have the best results in the north west... (I think...)

It is not about where you go, but who you acquaint with.

oh, 100: I don't mess others around. If I need to do something for someone else, I will do it. Just not for myself.

I may go for a training scheme I have seen to become a priison officer... 1 year training, but it looks like a good job.

Need to apply today. Second stage is early next year...

im not denying itz a great college (it does have best results in north west)

but for someone who is so easily influenced, its like suicide

i have a headache after dayz of arguments Cray 2

at least iv learnt a lesson

discipline will never be a problem in my house

spoilt kids are the products of bad parenting...although some external factors may also have an effect or the child...many just need a firm authoritive figure in thier lives!

I received everything I needed.

lolz! that made me laugh

When i was at school, Oldham Sixth Form was where everyone was aiming to go. It was The Oldham College you had to beware (all the "rejects" went there).

Hey your post loops, once you get to the end you can start again and it makes sense.

Hmm Oldham Sixth form better than Stretford Grammar Sixth form? A little gang war may be in order...

Gentleness and kindness were never a part of anything except that it made it beautiful, and harshness was never a part of anything except that it made it ugly.

Through cheating, stealing, and lying, one may get required results but finally one becomes

Salaam

In my own family none of us were spoilt little brats except maybe my eldest bro. Saying that i think he was just plain naughty rather than spoilt. If we really wanted something then we would save up for it.

Shame the same cant be said for some of the kids you come across nowadays

But i agree with sister Yashmaki about parents wanting to give their children the things that perhaps they didnt have. In the process not realising that maybe they should also teach them about appreciating things.

Woh woh woh woh there.... this aint my batman cup.

No i mean when the hell did that I-m so happy happen??

I was there like 3 years ago and Oldham Sixth Form was the place everyone wanted to be and Oldham College was were the rejects went to. When the hell did they switch??

Must have been after we left... we left too high standards for the following year to compete with so they gave up... the lazy gits.

Back in BLACK

'ashtoners' have this crazy obssesion to go to Oldham 6th form, and 'oldhamers' have this crazy urge to come to Ashton 6th form

i suppose they want to be far away from home when they get up 2 no good Biggrin

i thought oldham college woz reject college and oldham 6th form woz 'da place to be'

same in ashton:

start off in ashton 6th form and when u get kicked out, its over to reject college tameside tech (no offence to anyone who goes there)

or if u left high school wiv no qualifications and u cant stop the relatives nagging at ya, tell them ur doing this fabulous course at this great college called tameside tech and becoz its a really hard course ure going to be there for at least five years if not more Biggrin

basically u go to tameside tech to:

1)stop parents/relatives nagging

2)avoid getting married

3)sell cigs n spliffs

4)or becoz u have nothing better to do with ur life

aplogies again if anyone has been to that college, but it has to be said

No, no
what i meant was that Oldham Sixth Form had this squeaky clean image and now they're turning into dope heads!

lol like the ones you still find at Oldham College

by the sounds of it

if anyone is looking to buy spliffs/dope etc, then oldham 6th form is the place to go Biggrin

I definitely aint gonna spoil my kids. Im gonna be a gud father inshaALLAH and bring em up right. Actually I'll deal more with the sons, teach em to be manly and that, their mom can deal with the girls. She can teach em to sew and knit and bake cake and wash clothes by hand and to do mehndi etc, so wifey better know how to do these things herself aswell.

theres more to life then the house work, wot bout givin your daughters an education that will benefit them in the long term. What if your wife dont know how to do that stuff what you gonna do then, teach them yoursef Biggrin

But if you note I didnt mention anything abt deen for my sons. This is because both my daughters and sons will inshaALLAH be drowned in religious knowledge. I wud want all my children to be huffaz and ulama and hafizaat and alimaat inshaALLAH.

and if wifey doesnt knw then she better start learning quicktime, cos she knows that I want loads of kids and am gonna get started on a family straight away, I aint waiting to complete my degree. LOL.

InshaALLAH be a father of atleast 2 kids before I finish uni.

Ya ALLAH Madad.
