I know why I don't celebrate it, my Creator knows why and that's sufficient for me. Frankly don't care about the conjectures and ramblings of those who want to mock my stance.

No point getting into accusations.

Calling anyone a hypocrite is a big thing. No point in arguing over it.

We all disagree, and have different opinions. But that does not give us the right to abuse, or to accuse, or be cruel.

After all a difference of opinion is acceptable (as long as you do not define it in absolutes).

And if you disagree, even vehemently, it does not mean you hate the other. As an example Hayder wishing well for Naj's father. That is not hypocrisy, but humanity.

It is a salient feature of the people of innovation that they dont knw what bidah is cos if they did they wudnt be engaging in it.

Yes things can be initially permitted, but then acts around it make it haraam. I dnt come here for lectures on evil bidahs, and good bidahs, alhamdulillah my Ustaads I believe understand the issue better than me or any1 here.

For those who think that if it aint mentioned in Quran and Sunnah then theres no way it can be deemed haraam let me just tell u the Quran and Sunnah dont DIRECTLY give a ruling on everything. The Quran is not an encyclopaedia or just some book of rules and regulatins that tells u do this, dont do that etc. The Quran is the speech of ALLAH, the Quran does not deal with everything, eg the exact way to read namaz isnt Quran. Similarly not everything is directly mentioned in the ahadeeth, thats y we rely on the Sahabah and later the ulama.

The Quran and Sunnah outline for us the neceessities and the princinples that are to be applied, after that these are applied by the ulama.

Where does it say dont look at pornography in Quran and Sunnah? It says not to gaze at women, it says not to indulge in fornication of the eyes but if u want to be ignorant u cud argue that in those days and the context was that women only appeared infront of u, never on a tv screen. Wen u look at tv videos etc that aint gazing at women cos the quran adn sunnah talked abt wen women is physically infront, hence i can say that watching pornography is not rong because the Quran and Sunnah dont mention anything abt images.

I seek ALLAH's protection from such blasphemy, this was only to illustrate a point. The Quran also doesnt chat abt gin and tonic, and bacardi breezers. The word is khamr, referreing to the wine of dates no1 said anything abt alcohol from hops and barley and other substances.

Basically the deen is protected by the ulama alhamdulillah. Shakespear said '' even the devil can cite scripturefor his purpose'' and it is true.

So ppl , I advise not to go to dodgy ppl and get dodgy religion but submit to the SUNNAH, forget wajib and fard and haraam and mustahab. Go for sunnah, because that way u will never lose.

You see Med, if it is haraam, the Qur'an and sunnah DIRECTLY GIVE A VERDICT. That is why a haraam act cannot ever be called allowed.

again i ask, who are the people of bidah u keep mentioning...the tablighi jamaat who do the 40 day 'gasht' that the prophet ﷺ and sahabah , did not do...who, tell me?

the concept of bidah we should adopt is one that has been taken by the classical scholars not the one you follow, or your teachers or Muhammad bin abdul wahhaab or the modern day salafis. The understanding of Bidah by Imam shaafi, Imam Abidin Shaami, Imaam Asqalani, Imaaam Suyuti....and they all agree as I have mentioned many times, there are many categories and conditions to bidah, they accept bidah hasanah...which you and your clan rejects.
We dont need lectures from Shaykh Med, we should follow the beliefs of the saliheen, the classical scholars..alhamdulillah i try to do that to the best of my ability.

So before you announce like parrot fashion about people of bidah, it seems you yourself dont have a clue about the topic, yet you ar equick to judge and accuse others very quickly, you practise bidah hasanah yourself without realising....

this forum was not set up to debate aqeedah issues, to accuse each other of kufr, shirk and bidah...since Mufti Med has arrived thats what its turned in to.

Thing is birthdays are not an aqeeda Issue.

Ask a proper deobandi scholar why can you not celebrate your birthday, and he will tell you its because you cannot celebrate the prophet's (saw), so since he is greatest of all creation, you cannot celebrate your own.

Ask him why can't you celebrate the Prophet's (saw), and you will be told the methid of celebration used is wrong. Ask him if you use an islamic method, and he will say it is ok.

Ask himk can you have a gathering 2moro, and call it a mawlid celebration, and there will be no problem. Have it in Rabi Ul Awal, and some will jump over slyscrapers to call you an innovator.

u trying to say that u never heard anyone say that "milad is wrong cos its a biddah?"

ask them why, and they always mention the method, and not the act.

They are confused and confuse the two.

They say it is not allowed due to no basis for 3rd, 7th, annual etc, and because free mixing is not allowed. That all is about method, not the event.

Ofcourse you will have nto find a proper scholar to tell you this.

The normal followers are just indoctrinated with answers, and do not know the basis of them.

other confused ones say its cos u should "do it every day"

As I said, there is no argument on aqeedah on this issue, just one of practice.
