just in case any1 was hinting at me aswell in the previous post. I dont agree with sufi sahib throwing insults on me or others, but i was just commetning that personally i find him really amusing. such a foolish person i have only ever read about in books, alhamdulillah he has made me value what intellect i have.

Sufi was right to be angry as his thread seemed ok, as i read a few of the posts at the start of the thread.

The Editor, who i presume is the Boss, should find out who deleted it and give us an explanation, as many on this thread have asked for one.

but i've never come across you let me tell u something as the Christians wont implicate Jews anymore in the crucifiction of Christ so too it is seen as bad manners to call people who are clearly Wahabi Wahabi unless they say so themselves

there are many people on here who are wahabi. deobandi. etc but unless they say so themselves they wont like it if u say it

i'm a Brelvi by the way and proud of it

also the name Sufi power sounds a bit cheap for the actual beautiful people - call yourself beautiful person or lover of Sufis or something that gives them the credit they deserve not that they require our credit but out of respect you know man

1. the statement made by 'sufipower' was not backed up by anything
2. the scholar mentioned is a great scholar and this thread just gives ppl an excuse to make unfair comments against him
3. sufipower lacked adab, manners...

This is obsurd.

Sufi gave the link of the lecture which is all the evidence he needed to give.

If ppl make unfair comments about the scholar then u delete those particular posts... its like demolishing a whole multi storey building because there are robbers in one apartment.

He was not rude in the first post of the thread so if he was rude in other posts then those posts should have been edited or deleted... not the whole thread...

Ur actions are totally unthinkable...

So ur explanation is not good enough, tell us why u really deleted the thread, as users of this forum you have severely undermined our confidence in this forum...

Looks like sufi has already left the forums..

Look at it this way MrDragon, theres a way of doing things.

Maybe SufiPower had the best interests at heart but he just went about it the wrong way. Like MrEd said lack of adab and manners.

In terms of evidence of relavance maybe a single link doesnt justify an entire debate or perhaps the link lacked credibility. Its like saying if a single cell in the body becomes affected with cancer there no way it will spread to the rest of the body.

Bottomline: There the right way and theres a wrong way, the end does not justify the means.

There is a change of heart, since you found out it was not me. In the future, if a thread is deleted, PM me and I will get you an explanation. Or ost a polite note on the forums. Abuse can be left at the door. And sufi, I believe a few people are waiting for an apology. You were abusive to alot of people, especially Yashmaki.

Very poor excuses for censorship.

1. Lots of people often say things without any evidence whatsoever. I am a prime example of such a case.

2. People have a right to reject and criticise any cleric they have a problem with.

3. There are, and have been, far worse morons - men and women - on this forum than this sufi gentleman.

Therefore, I believe that the reasons given above by the Revival Council for censoring the honourable member of this great forum are invalid.

Morever, I would like the Council to make an urgent review of the decision that was taken to censor the member.

I would also like to see that revamping of the overall policy as regards the monitoring of the threads. Because it seems that the present thinking seems to shows a tendency towards fascism.

This is the problem with muslims today.

They expect everyone to be like them.

They do not tolerate plurality.

Sad state of affairs.

I didn’t see the thread that was deleted, nor did I see what happened in this thread pre-edit. However, I was briefly told about it.

I’m assuming that, SufiPower mentioned that the lecture he linked by Shaykh Tahir ul Qadri states the exact date of when Imam Mahdi is returning?

I have seen the lecture and exact date has not been given. (Unless I missed that bit-but I doubt it).

However, it is a detailed comprehensive lecture that clears up many misconceptions associated with the coming of Imam Mahdi. It’s a very deep and thorough lecture based on evidence derived from Quran and hadith…

I have a feeling SufiPower, was being controversial in order to make people see for themselves what whether or not he was telling the truth?.... If so, this is not the way to go about things…

I do not think that his thread should have been deleted, as the topic raised is very interesting. However, he brought it on himself when he went into abusive mode.

People’s words lose credibility when their words/actions upset others. I would like to see the thread being discussed again though, in a civilised manner.
