He rejected it. I just had a convo with 'Ed about it...
The homo was arguing who is ed to judge, and would not accept the Quran's stance.

Saying homosexuality is not haraam is kufr.
Homosexuality is worse that zina. It is worse than fornication and adultery. It is declared an abomination.

An alcoholic knows it is wrong. An adulteror know it is wrong. A homo says nothing is wrong with it. That is where it becomes kufr.
All homo's claim nowt wrong with it. It the slogan of the gay rghts groups.
I am surrised we do not all see it like this, as IMO there is not much to discuss. It is wrong. the homo is not a muslim. I see no debate in this subject. The homo has rejected the qur'an.
The act is unnatural. It is an abomination.

Agreed if the guy rejected the Quran then he is kafir...
Hope sum1 can clear this up for me...
Obviously if one says i am gay and i know it is haram but i will still continue to be gay = kufur
But what if sum1 says i know being gay is wrong but i cant help it, or says i know committin zina is haram but i cant stop myself, where does this person stand, aren't they indirectly saying that they dont want to accept the Quran because they cant control themselves :? Anyone?
And I doubt that those people who wish to “offer their help to help gay people back on the straight path” would get very far with their “hate/burn/shoot” attitude towards them.
However, instead of expressing our hatred and desire to “hate/shoot/kill/burn” the so called "Kafir" homosexuals…..which wont make them change their ways.
Can we just get back to the topic….does anyone from East London listen to Radio Ramadan?
in this case however cos the guy rejected quran u can say that he commited kufr
but u cant say that ALL gays are kafir
and does anyone know ALL gay people who say that there is nothing wrong with it?
A gay or homosexual person is one who accepts it as a valid way of life.
One who has committed the act, but does not consider a valid form of life would not be 'gay' but one who has taken part in a homosexual act...
(and sorry about bringing this up again. I have split the topic from the Radio ramadan one...)

If somone claims to be a muslim but has an active homosexual lifestyle how can they be considered muslim. The homosexual acts would take them out of the fold of Islam surely?
.
so does intentional sinning make a person exit fold of islam?
my best mate dont wear a scarf even though she KNOWS that it say u should in the quran-so is she not a muslim?
people commit zina-KNOWING that quran forbids it so are they not muslims?
some drink alcohol KNOWING that quran forbids it so does that mean that they are a kafir?
many people BLATENTLY reject quranic verses-by intentionally sinning-and knowing the score so are they all kafir?
have they all exited fold of islam?
if so there must be a lot of kafir around

An interesting fact, which isnt in tune with the direction of the topic, but is relevent to it onetheless.
In the 1960s and 1970s, homosexuality in america was considered a phycological problem. Fag's would go to the phycologists and admit they hav a problem n the phycologists would help them get over it n go str8 agen.
Nowadays tho, Fagnesality (Homobattyality) or whatever u wanna call it is considered normal, ur either gay, or u are not. n the world is accepting fagboys n girls as a part of society.
And, asmuch as we hate Mr Bush, the only sensible thing hes prolly ever dun in his presidency period is denounce homosexuality. And he has done everything in his power to prevent homos from bein legally married.
So as gay as we like to think Bushy boy is, he is actually very anti-sponge-bob.
N that concludes my some what bizzarre post.

issue is simple:
if you commit zina - it is a major sin, if you say there is nothing wrong with it, it sok, its allowed- then that is kufr
if you drink alcohol, smoke weed, its a major sin- if you say its ok, nothing wrong with it, then that is kufr
if you commit homosexuality, its a major sin- if you say its ok, nothing wrong with it- then thats kufr
to say that a haram act is permissible makes you a kafir and takes you outside the orbit of Islam.
commiting a haram act does not make you a kafir.
to deny or disagree with a haram act is what takes you outside Islam.
this is the difference between fardh and wajib, haram and makruh
if u say a fardh act is not fardh, you dont have to do it, u become kafir because you disagree with direct commandment of quran and hadith.
if u say a wajib act is not important or disagree with it- that doesnt make you a kafir- that is difference between fardh and wajib
in same way :
if u say haram act is not haram, is allowed or disagree with it, you become kafir, because you disagree with a direct commandment from quran and sunnah
if u disagree with makruh act, that does not make u a kafir. that is the difference between haram and wajib.
these are the fiqhi issues behind the matter.
homosexuality- if u do it- big sin, haram. if u say its ok, nothing wrong with it- u become a kafir. end of.

homosexuality is forbidden in Islam - we all know
on a humanitarian level we can only help these people if they want our help
we should not give them dirty names and conduct witch hunts and shun them
in my experience those who protest the most are ones who have something to hide
it is not our place to call anyone Kaffir we can only say that the Act can lead to kuffer, the human can always be saved by the mercy of Allah He alone who is the best judge of us all
I say Tobah for my weaknesses and pray that Allah keeps us all on the straight and narrow.

if u say 'there is nothing wrong with being gay, its normal, its allowed, its natural, i agree with it..' then that is kufr because you disagree with open and direct verses, ahadith and orders of the Quran and sunnah. This takes you outside Islam. Ask any scholar this, they will say the same thing- this is basic fiqh.

most will say theres nothing wrong with it
its a psycholgical thing, not biological
i find it hard to believe theres a gay person out there who has become so without choice and wishes to change
their 'feelings' are a result of their surroundings and their norms and values which are percieved as ok to them
any gay person who needs help should be offered help back into straight life, if they dont want to - they aint human, never mind muslim.
even if i wasnt a muslim - i would still percieve gay people in the same manner
