THE REVIVAL TALK SHOWS ON RADIO RAMADANS
no leave it. I found it pretty poor myself... and I listened to the full thing.
Such as noone mentioned that kids are away from islam because THEY ARE BORED. Nothing exciting happens at an Islamic event. I myself avoid them like the plague. brring boring boring.
When was the last time you heard of an Islamic group taking people go-karting? Paintballing? to the cinema? laser-quest?
No its all 'today we are excited to present bland scholar number 254...'
The earning needs to be a small part of an islamic lifestyle. Its not the be all and the end all.
THE REVIVAL TALK SHOWS ON RADIO RAMADANS
I'm so glad Admin you agree i thought i was being too harsh thanks so on your advice i'm gonna leave it

i feel horrible saying this but i'm used to listening to our Ramadan radio from Sheffield Attercliffe chaired soley with a few guests time to time by a Jamaican convert Mustafa and he is both informative and hilarious and totally addictive
sorry again for being so horrible - i dont like being negative about those who are trying to do positive which u are[/quote]
you cant judge a programme after listening for only 10 mins? was it the first 10 mins, last, which?
the lets talk shows are always lively, educational, opinionated, sarcastic, controversial.....
the only thing last night's show lacked was...calls!
i might give tonights show a miss... let some other brothers do a better job. i better stick to writing articles 😃

well usually the shows we do are full of calls, this year in rochdale, it probably hasnt been highlighted enough....
i wasnt just blaming parents....
i was saying they had a responsibility and if they dont fulfill that then youngsters will go astray...
i mentioned that youth go away from islam if:
1. there is no islam in the house, no proper tarbiyyah
2. bad company/friends
3. no islamic evenst/activities/entertainment
4. no proper education from mosques/imams
5. lack of role models for youngsters
and loads more.....
i am usually alot more controversial , but i have been told by the organisers to tone my views down this year...i wonder why...
THE REVIVAL TALK SHOWS ON RADIO RAMADANS
not really
i heard ur show
u JUST kept on moaning about the parents
then u touched on bad mates
even though bad mates is the MAIN reason why people go astray
btw did u get my txts?

u needa spice it up a lil
Sis Seema....can you listen to Ramadan radio (Sheffield Attercliffe) online? it sounds good
THE REVIVAL TALK SHOWS ON RADIO RAMADANS
just abt to tune in... lets hope its better today.
So today its about unity....
THE REVIVAL TALK SHOWS ON RADIO RAMADANS
The Editor comes across as being very passionate for what he believes in. I totally agree with him.
THE REVIVAL TALK SHOWS ON RADIO RAMADANS
I find unity is just used as a mantra.
There are issues where we need to be united, and work together.
There are other issues where we differ too much. In these issues we need to stop accusing the other party, and not call them people of Innovation, people of insults etc.
THE REVIVAL TALK SHOWS ON RADIO RAMADANS
yeah i've just phoned in but i went a bit blank never mind i'll be better next time
my computer is upstairs and phone downstairs which doesnt help
i agree with the panel they said everything i wanted to anyway
THE REVIVAL TALK SHOWS ON RADIO RAMADANS

THE REVIVAL TALK SHOWS ON RADIO RAMADANS
it was about unity.
Some guy rang in saying the reason for disunity was because the Prophet did not follow madhab's so why should we?
stupid argument.
THE REVIVAL TALK SHOWS ON RADIO RAMADANS

yes i phoned near the end and froze it was the first time i've ever phoned any radio i had all these things to say and ended up saying some rubbish about slogans etc
still like i said next time it'll be better now that the ice has been broken.
yes the show was good the 2 men speaking said everything that could be said its a hard thing acheiving unity if it wasnt then we would have it already
i wanted to say that the necessity for unity is paramount especially in the current world climate and that sects are for our individual imaan whilst unity is for the good of the Islamic Ummah
and it is time we had a young peoples council here in britain made up of all diff sects under one banner uniting muslims every country should have such a group and we should all communicate with one another building up a world network of englightened and unified Muslims who recognise their place in the modern world and are able to move with it and set trends whilst keeping Islam intact
THE REVIVAL TALK SHOWS ON RADIO RAMADANS
I am gona call in, let me know when you guys are on air next, but it has to be nxt week as i dont have the net at my house at the mo.
THE REVIVAL TALK SHOWS ON RADIO RAMADANS
why we should follow a madhab- evidence from the Qur'an
1. Allaah says - I ask the people who know, if (when) you do not know.
(Nahl - 43/ambiyaa).
This is the general rule in every walk of life. Moreover, when one is sick then one does not go to the mechanic, also when the car requires repairs one does not go to the doctor to have it attended to. There is a broad division of separation of responsibility. These days we know that heart patients go to the cardiologist, whilst the orthopaedic surgeon attends to bone problems, while the paediatrician cares for the ailments of children. So in one field of medicine, there is also further specialisation.
Thus the cardiologist will not do the work of the orthopaedic surgeon and so on.
Similarly in the field of Deen one cannot go to anyone or every one. One cannot place reliance on the ignorant and blind to lead the way. Deen is more important, for it means either success or disaster in this world and the Aakhiraat.
The piety, righteousness, reliability, authoritive nature and Ilm of the Imams of Jurisprudence is acclaimed and proven beyond a shadow of doubt. We, Muqaleeds, have placed our confidence in the fields of Ilm, as per instruction of the Quraan Aask the people of knowledge (who know), if you do not (know), i.e. Athe Imams of Jurisprudence.
2. Allaah says : A follow and obey Allaah and obey the Rasul, and those in authority amongst you.
(Nisaa - 89)
The commentators of the Quraan state concerning those in authority amongst you that..
1. In the best of times the rulers of the Muslim empire were also the supreme authority in Deeni affairs also, like the rule of Hadhrat Abu Bakr (R.A), Hadhrat Umar (R.A), Hadhrat Uthmaan (R.A), Hadhrat Ali (R.A), Hadhrat Muawiya (R.A).
They ruled as political administrators of the empire and their decisions concerning Islaamic Deeni matters were decisive and conclusive.
2. However due to the rulers becoming less knowledgeable in Deen, two separate departments arose;
a.) one for the rulers who controlled the political infra structure;
b.) one for Ulema who gave direction in every aspect of the empire and provided religious guidelines to the ruled and rulers.
3. Nevertheless, the authorities in Deen were held higher in status and position than the rulers. The decision of the Ulema will be final to all, the ruled and the rulers.
(Vol. 2 p. 210 - Akaam ul Quraan Abu Bakr Jassass).
Allaah is ordering us to obey the authorities in Deen. In both ayats, Allaah is not ordering us to commit kufr, shirk and bidat. So the concept to follow anyone other than Allaah and His Rasul (S.A.W) is kufr, etc is definitely false.

That is zahid maqbool talking at the moment.
THE REVIVAL TALK SHOWS ON RADIO RAMADANS
TOPIC IS ISLAM IN THE MEDIA.
It seems to be pretty good atm.
THE REVIVAL TALK SHOWS ON RADIO RAMADANS
IMO all people should try to get involved, not just a few.
Then the media can pick between a diversity of views, and can ignore extreme comments.
That will show us as a community, and not as a borg collective that is out to assimilate everyone.
That way the extreme elements will be drowned out by the majority.
THE REVIVAL TALK SHOWS ON RADIO RAMADANS
