the new issue of course 🙂

its really good in my opinion, the layout, the look, the articles everything Alhamdulillah

the mosque up the street was a lil empty, not many went there. the mosque down the street went well, a lot of youngsters took it n were interested

then the people at my mosque fled to it like bees to honey....most of em coz they knew i was was gona be in it 8) 😛

one kid said.....'about time, ive been waitin for the next one!' 🙂

One thing you may have noticed is people immediately turn to the Ali Wannabe article.

The front cover looks rather good in print aswell...

It looks abit upmarket for The Revival though...

IMO the worst designed page is the Editorial. And its the first age you see when you open the magazine!

it aint that bad

that page could have been a lil better but the Ramadan and Eid articles make up for it

we'll see what the feedback is....

well today people were turnin to Ali Wannabee....AND the Eid Not Weed one

i seriously think we should make that into one of them wristbands

We have had t-shirts in the past...

all in the name of funding.

its all Dawah work 😉

shirts dont cost much....good design, walla!

people will be lookin for the designer tag 😉

the new issue has a picture of the forum on the inside back cover

hardly a good advertisin method....threads such as 'the good stuff (milk)' and them daft ones by Judda etc lol

the magazines have been distributed in oldham, manchester...have been sent to burnley, blackburn, sheffield, bradford, birmingham etc...
they should be in London, Luton, highwycombe in the next few days...and the rest of the Uk in about a weeks time..
has anyone read this issue yet? your feedback is required....

the whole of manchester has got the revival now

hayder, most ppl r luvin it but not all. Had a few comments from sum girls bout previous issues n the kinda stuff thats written in it like 1 girl said, they were making fun of "niqabis" so i think sum ppl need 2 think twice b4 publishng articles so as 2 not offend a certain group of ppl. oh n she dint take a copy frm me! lol

aaah wat a load of jibberish! where does it make fun of niqabi's? was she reffering to the comic strip? even i dont approve of the comic strip, but thats coz i dont find it funny nor relevant

i think weve had a few people before declaring the magazine haraam even! some people are narrow minded and need to lighten up!....but thats jus my opinion

well ive asked a lot of people, and most like it...others are yet to read it

one sister was from the MAB, she was highly impressed.

i spoke to the MMU Isoc President, and hes had a few people comin up2 him sayin they were likin it.

theres a lot more feedback to come, we'll see....

got a copy of issue 3 today, first issue of revival ive eva read n what can i say except, Mashallah, it was wel gd, entertaining n too the point.

any1 able to tell me who i need to tlk to bout getin involved wid da writin of articles. i write poetry n alot of the articles in da issue jus rang bells with few of ma poems. i'l post a few up later. n jus out of curiousity was u handin out copies of issue3 across da road frm mmu su 2day, hayder? think it was u who i was tlkin to bout it.

My bro picked up a copy in his local mosque. I was impressed, the magazine made me laugh (in a good way 😛 ) all the way through. It was something that I could relate to for a change for I have little Islamic knowledge and was brought up by very desi parents.

So a massive thumps up from me!
