And for some reasons, the potatoes in Pakistan are sweet.

Had chips there, and they have a distinctive flavour not available in the uk. Very nice.

nope, just normal potato from what I could tell.

But with the language barrier, it may have been a subvariety as you suggest.

However fuits and veg in general are bettter tasting there, mostly due to the extra sunlight I think. The soil may also have something to do with it. It is golden rather than brown in the UK.

However Whart I do not understand is why the mangoes from pakistan are so much mangoes from anywhere else. There are other warm regions such as Africa, America, and Israel that export to the UK, but they are all... poor. I cannot eat them.

sounds weird but it's really good.

Especially if they are kettle chips - the really crunchy ones.

Have you had proper Pakistani mangoes? They are in the uk for about 6 weeks during the summer. end of june til around middle of august. Best. Fruit. Ever.

I have tried a few other varieties, and they come no where close!

(there are loads of sub variety of pakistani mangoes aswell. but most are exquisite.)

As for other fruit, I am not pick where it comes from. Its all good, depending on wether I actually like the fruit.

Hey, tonight at the Royal Albert Hall I was about 10 feet away from Rachel Fuller, Jerry Hall, Mike Townsend and a load of very cool people including my favourite poet John Hegley, and Adrian Mitchell (lefty poet, you won't like him Constantine) they all did great sets you'll never hear again! I chatted (gushed) to this incredible performer Willy Mason, is he famous? He was brilliant. I only went to hear a friend play accompaniment in Michael Horovitz's 'Poetry Olympics', didn't know what I was in for!
