Message To All You Smelly People

MuslimSisLilSis

NOTHING is more infuriating then someone who pongs

i was sitting on the bus today next to this girl-

she was pretty, was dressed well and was sweet-BUT SHE STANK

WE should be conscious of our body odour

if u stink this makes people assume negative stuff about u

NO ONE-however outspoken they are is gonna turn round and say to u-YOU stink

so this is sumin that u need to be concious of urself

Have a shower DAILY-or at least every other day-do NOT go more then two days without having a shower

wear deodrant and body spray DAILY

invest in a good purfume

VISIT body shop, perfume shop etc

if u have cheesy feet DO sumin about it

if u have smelly breath USE A MOUTHWASH-brush ur teeth TWICE a day

DO NOT put people off with ur body odour

if your family member/mate stinks TELL them (diplomatically)

do NOT be oblivious to ur body odour

cleanliness is half of Islam

Use this thread to discuss hygeine and smelly people-

If you know someone personally, I don't feel it too uncouth to bring to their attention such a matter as obvious bad body odour. Of course, the manner in which the message is conveyed is of utmost importance. You can't go in and say 'Damn, did you know you stink?!' Perhaps buy them some body spray or deoderant as a gift; strike up a conversation with them re the subject, without actually making it too obvious that you are concerned about them specifically - most intelligent people will 'get it'. Perhaps they're not aware of the matter as no-one has ever mentioned it to them. Maybe they'll even thank you for the hint.

thats the reason behind my thread

some people are oblivious

I'm just increasing awareness and trying to make evryone feel more self concious
Kuri you can't politely tell someone they smell vile. Excuse me sis but you smell of B/o. Don't take offence, i'm only doing dawah for your own good. The sister would either freak, get very embarrassed and move away or start crying.

You can tell your mate if they're a bit sweaty but you can't say such things to strangers..least i couldn't. Alhamdulilah for niqabs loool.

But this is a good topic, hygiene is given the upmost importance in Islam.
actually telling people such is normal in madressa.....there are ways of saying it politely...ive seen it ,but personally i wouldnt be able to do it

I really regret saying this. Mostly because I know you are going to love it.

No, she loves dolphins. So much so I dished out 100 - each, on a vacation once to swm with them.

..it was kinda fun though...

She has them on everything, keychains, her high school bookbag, even on her AIM icon.
