Message To All You Smelly People

MuslimSisLilSis

NOTHING is more infuriating then someone who pongs

i was sitting on the bus today next to this girl-

she was pretty, was dressed well and was sweet-BUT SHE STANK

WE should be conscious of our body odour

if u stink this makes people assume negative stuff about u

NO ONE-however outspoken they are is gonna turn round and say to u-YOU stink

so this is sumin that u need to be concious of urself

Have a shower DAILY-or at least every other day-do NOT go more then two days without having a shower

wear deodrant and body spray DAILY

invest in a good purfume

VISIT body shop, perfume shop etc

if u have cheesy feet DO sumin about it

if u have smelly breath USE A MOUTHWASH-brush ur teeth TWICE a day

DO NOT put people off with ur body odour

if your family member/mate stinks TELL them (diplomatically)

do NOT be oblivious to ur body odour

cleanliness is half of Islam

Use this thread to discuss hygeine and smelly people-

She'd probably been smoking or drinking.

look Dave

people who are a bit smelly aint bad people-but some are just oblivious to their body odour

which is wrong

in Islam we are even told not to eat garlic or onion before coming to the mosque
You should have politely told her she stank.
that'd be TOO rude

I didnt know her well enough to say that

Dave — Sun, 11 Sep 2005 - 17:53

lol... talking about odors is uncivilized, talking about bodily functions is uncivilized.

THIS IS UNCIVILIZED.

Somehow I get the feeling you skipped that class in finishing school.

1. Nursery School - where it's appropriate.
2. Observation from social standards

- For example, you do not see people walking around in their PJs on a day to day basis. Why? Because the vast majority of people don't do it anyway - it's not something that needs to be taught.
3. Parents - unless this becomes some epidemic, it's a personal issue parents should take the responsibility to teach.

Nah it has to be brought to attention there is nothin worse than sitting next to someone who has a stink problem, hygiene and smelling good should be a law!

Lol...she isnt one to shy away from ANY topic.

Most of the time she's the one who comes out with what's on everyone's mind.

Although this topic isnt one that really should be discussed out loud....it is a cause for concern.

It is wrong to cause inconvenience to others because of how one smells. For some reason many people overlook its importance.

Lol-I didnt go to finishing school...but I did attend a snobby private school...and they did teach me how to act like a "lady" and apparently it isnt "lady like" to talk about such topics.

But that doesnt prevent me from thinking about it....

Dave — Sun, 11 Sep 2005 - 20:27

lol private schools do get pretty elitist.

We actually had a home ec class for the ladies on how to throw a dinner party.

You didn't have to board there did you?

Sirus — Sun, 11 Sep 2005 - 21:41

daily baths/showers with nice soap and clean underwear every day (change twice a day if u have to) and clean socks are a must

fresh washed clothes are also best and not going out in the same clothes u cooked curry in is also essential

u cant be too clean!

if u see a fault in one person ..they stink etc....u meant to approch that person and tell them what u think in the polite way..not something to be discussed with anyone else.

taking out peoples faults is totally wrong in islam....

but faults being such as they aint praying namaz in correct way etc....then u meant to correct them

MuslimSisLilSis — Mon, 12 Sep 2005 - 09:47

LOL

thats a good one

"politely tell someone u stink"

my sister Litlle Miss Polite coudlnt even think of a polite way to say to someone they stink

btw Dave just cos YOU attended finishing school, know how to walk with a book on ur head, dont talk about "unlady like" topics and avoid public transport cos u suffer from OCD

Okay I didn't attend finishing school THAT WAS A JOKE.

Although there are finishing schoolish classes at my old school they are not for men.

And how do you know YOU don't stink??

Would you like somebody to comment on your aroma?

Its uncivilized discussion!
