Why Do YOU Post On The Revival?

MuslimSisLilSis β€”

I'm sure we all must be here for diff reasons

when I first joined this forum is was only to tease my sister cos she spent so much time here

but that got boring cos I can do that in real life better

then I become drawn in the debates and HAD to always have the last word

I confess that 95% of the time I dont know much about what we debate about-so I always get my sister to properly explain sumin before I start arguing-I've even phoned her up in the past when I've been corned in a debate

but I've realised that in the process I've actually started to learn sumin-No joke

I've realised how Islam can be interpreted diff-how some people are responsible for giving a negative image of Islam...and that Islam can be cool

I enjoy posting here-I like the sense of humour of some people

why do u guys post here?

Forum

I can't like I said it depends on what I am lookin for!

besides I cannot seperate some of u - like u and angel are a team made personally by God to pick on me.

Because ur short.

Seraph is the forum oracle - the yoda - if you will.

Irfghan is a damn good balance of comedy and seriousness and I like the way he writes so prolly think more as a result.

MuslimSister is probably the most intelligent person on the forum and although I am usually intimidated by her vast knowledge of islam I prolly respect her the most.

And anybody callin himself "Darth" deserves a medal.
so guys who's posts do u look forward to reading when u come to the forum?

who couldnt u imagine the revival without?
I have too say Ed, it only after I read some of Ed views that made me want to start posting again, even though I don't agree with alot of what he says he make it interesting. I especially love it when he goes on one of his rants. This place would defintely not be the same without him and his little fanclub they know who they are, he made this place interesting just when it was getting abit stale and girly. You can say that all the character on Revival are roll into one, in Ed. πŸ˜‰

oh and seeing Ed getting worked up over Judda is funny πŸ˜‚
so guys who's posts do u look forward to reading when u come to the forum?

i nominate mousy omro
Theres no1 in particular to whose posts i look forward to reading.

But i do know the revival board wouldnt be the same without the vetrans.

I class the vetrans as people who regularly posted on the original revival board. Dave, MS, MSLS, Omrow, angel, MrEd, Admin, Irfan etc.

Sorry newbies i preciate your posts too... just not as much as the vets.

That and havng the odd weirdo on the forum boards keep things entertaining. e.g. tex, OldhamDude, Muji, Mujhiz Twin, Judda. These guys are here for my entertainment... SHUT UP AND DANCE CLOWN!!

lol, was that at the unity conv?

I cant imagine Admin trying to force revival mags on people...

the two things just dont go togeather.

You β€” Sat, 3 Sep 2005 - 22:42

forgot what?

Hand something to someone in the right way, and they will take.

try it. just walk upto someone, and hand over a book. They will take it, looking at you, wondering why you handed it over.

A natural reaction.

Now just pick the right person to do that to.

that is SO tru

once someone did that to my sister-

he handed her his shopping bags whilst he lit up his fag/joint-we were so surprised

since then we realised that if u want someone to take sumin-just hand it to them

we do that with leaflts/mags now
