Syria: before and after

Some of that damage is unimaginable. if it hadnt happened, you would never expect there to be so much:

(Saying that, this "property damage" is easier to look at compared to dead bodies of starved toddlers...)

You look at the grand architecture of those locations and think about the effort and time and resources required for each. And then the destruction is appalling. It just reminds you how temporary everything around us is.
