BBC News - Quarter of young British people 'do not trust Muslims'

Some 60% thought the British public had a negative image of Muslims.

Bloody idiots using niqabi pics as if they're representative of the British Muslim population. The Independent did that for their article on this too arghhhh
I agree with LTS people need to know more Muslims to change their views, I don't think anyone around me would be scared of Muslims.

Then you're doing it wrong!
Re: BBC News - Quarter of young British people 'do not trust...
This isnt really surprising given how much the media likes blasting anti-muslim propoganda. They even invented a word for it: Islamist, which is a cross between Islam (a religion of peace) and the word terrorist. That really says it all.

I think the biggest issue that needs to be faced is making people understand that Muslims are humans and not aliens from another planet. Once we sort that out we've cracked the jackpot.

Its ok, we come in peace. Take me to your leader?
yeah. come and ask the Brits in London, especially East London, see what they say here.
everyone would be afraid of the unknown and if the surveyed kids are from lil cities with 0-5% Muslim population then DUH is all i have to say.
