There can be good bid'ah which has an intervention with islam, and possibly you do it all the time.

Think of it this way. The prophet pbuh used to read the qur'an correct? Now we all have mobile phones? iPhones, Andriods or what ever. You can download a Qur'an app on your phone and read the Qur'an on your phone. This is Bid'ah as it is an innovation in the religion because no one ever read qur'an of a mobile phone/screen. But who said its a bad thing? Link logically my friend

i didnt expect people to still respond in this thread of mine after all these years

first of all you need to know what bidah in religion means and what linguistic bidah is

first of all is the quran on your mobile the same quran revealed by allah or is it a brand new revelation of quran like christians do with their bible every year

the quran is the same one revealed by allah 1400 years ago so how on earth is this a new bidah in the religion?

second point bidah in religion means getting a enw act of worship/ fardh sunnah nawfal out, getting a new practice out, a new eid out, a new celebration or new hajj new ramadan out, creating a new kaabah a new salah and others

quran in your phone is not a bidah in religion for the quran is quran, putting it in your phone is just a new way of presentation and reading the quran, when muhammad saw wasnt alive the quran wasnt written in the book because the sahaba ra felt their is no need muhammad saw is still alive, one sahaba ra however decided to write the whole quran in bones, others wrote it in leaves, which shows so long as quran is written on good things it was allowed, so whether it is written on the phone book leaves etc it is allowed for it does not contradict islam, nor is it a new innvoation in the religion for it fits in with this hadith and scenario

writing quran down is not a bidah whether its electronic or not it fits in with quran and sunnah

however if a person was to to create a new verse of the quran then this is bidah in the religion

so quran in phone is not a innovation in the religion it is a general innvoation that is helping the religion for example if a person creates a new weapon for jihad this is not innvoation in the religion it is a innvoation helping the religion for its people to fight and win wars and battles for islam doesnt say the weapons that have to be used any weopan can be used new or old

but innvoation in jihad and islam would be when people claim jihad cannot be used for defense, or only muhammad saw was allowed to do jihad not muslims of today, this is innvoation in the religion

a  car is a innvoation but not innvoation in islam, it is a innovation that can help islam such as riding it to the mosque to pray but riding a car to mosque is not a innvoation in the religion its simply a general innvoation that can be used to assist a person in islamic things such as taking it to the mosque, again whether a person takes horse to take him to mosque doesnt matter but if a person was to say taking a car to mosque doubles the reward then this is innvoation in religion

so you need to know what bidah in religion means and what bidah in general means
