To Do List

MuslimSisLilSis

They made me do this is college last year

But I think it's useful

make a list of ALL the things that u want to do in life-in ORDER

it can be all the serious stuff and all the silly stuff

kids often say "I'm gonna do this when I grow up"

make sure it LONG and detailed

I'll add mine later one

I've got no 'To Do List'.

All my ambition seems to have been sapped for some reason.

No wait... er,

1 Graduate

2 Get a job

4 Get married

5 Do Hajj

6 Die*

*Liable to occur at any time.

Having things planned out like this is boring. It's best to let go and let things happen.

Salaam

I made a list three years ago when I was 18…most of the stuff has been ticked off, there’s only a couple of stuff left to do.

I ticked off…

1-Get new mates, befriend the most religious person you know.

2-Do Hajj

3-Start doing speeches (this was a BIG deal/accomplishment for someone extremely shy and easily embarrassed)

4-Start writing articles…

(And some other stuff- I lost that list now)

But I still have to….

5-Pass my driving test!!

6-Become a qualified teacher

7-Start working-have a extremly fulfilling career.

8-Do a second Umrah or Hajj….(I'll prob go in my honeymoon  )

9-Spend some time in an Islamic institute as a student.

10-Become an expert at cooking.

11-Learn some new languages..maybe Arabic.

I don't want to becomes famous or noticed....I've done the pranks and the silly stuff....I'd LOVE to do bungee-jumping though.....

yuit — Wed, 24 Aug 2005 - 17:44

I always find it hard to keep to any lists. So I choose to tackle one task at a time, the one I am focus on at the moment is sending my parent to do Hajj this year.

I'm very organised in thissense...a bit of a perfectionist.

Have you made any plans regarding your own Hajj?

Once I get my parents hajj out of the way, I will defintely go within 2-3 years after them. Had opportunity to go to do Umrah, but much rather do my Hajj first for some reason, it will make it a much more surreal ocassion this way. Defintely want to do it before I am 30, that for sure.

The giant in Jack and the Beanstalk doesn't get beaten. Jack just steals from him.

But then you would know all about 'fairy tales'.

You read, recite and memorise 'fairy tales' to make yourself feel better about being the size of a fairy.

You can add this to your 'to do list': read less fairy tales, wake up to and accept reality.
