Today, i bought free range eggs

and so i decided to learn to make eggless cake and to generally be more careful with my usage of eggs.

coz free range isnt cheap.

but it isnt about the price. its abt the fact that because eggs became so cheap (with disastrous consequences and effects) we have become ungrateful of eggs and use too much (bit like milk but thats another story coz im addicted to milk) and dont even think about our consumption.

I have a cousin brother whose allergic to eggs -.- I don't know how anyone can manage. That reminds me, i haven't had an actual egg, like in its proper form, for a while now.

current EU regulations coming in place at the start of this year mean that eggs ought to be from places where the chickens are better cared for than he worst of the battery farming that used to happen previously.

Egg prices have gone up since.

However going free range seems ... I assume they potentially could be better cared for.

Weird. I wonder how long ago was that.

Wouldn't organic eggs be even better than free range? I was thinking to myself if it's Islamically ok to eat caged eggs, because they're not being treated well, are they? Sad

same here..but its just something that people dont even think about...

the price difference though is..amAHzing.

we've just got to learn to use LESS eggs. then we'd be able to buy the organic/free range eggs and they'd last longer so in the end you wouldnt be wasting your money.

or we shld just get a chicken...i mean our house is pretty farm like already LOL.

hey!! dont farm give/sell eggs? there's a farm not far from where we live!

i need to try and buy some of that egg-replacement powder thing.
