Tuesday 6 SHa`baan 1414 A.H.

you've got to be brave to use the hijri calendar. we're such wusses. we cant live without relying on something that we know is constant and doesnt change. (like gregorian calendar). instead of taking the guts of looking at the month every end of month. i think it'd make us more aware of our surrounding, we'd be more in touch with nature if we had to look at the moon every month. And we say stuff like "oh the hijri month goes back 10/15 days"; why dont we say the gregorian calendar adds 10/15 days each year.

what in your opinion makes more sense? calculating time based on our movement round something stationary?
or calculating time based on the movement of something else around us?

hmm..both makes sense to me.. but i like the idea of us being in the centre. but then its like we're moving and hte moon is moving and we're all together moving around the sun.

and the sun moves too right?

forget it..

Dhul Qa'dah 😃

I was a month away from Eid 🙁 But imagine being born on Eid day... I prefer Dhul Qa'dah 😃
