Only martyrs get full 73.

Others get between 4 and 40, depending on their status in Heaven.

I would be happy with 23.

I am not a greedy man, even though I can handle nearly 300.

They imply alot.

Besides the translation is not 'virgins' per se. Its maids.

We do not know exactly what we will get in heaven (inshallah we will all reach that...without too much of a sauna before hand...)

All examples are just that examples.

Remember lads; you do have to earn your place in heaven. Its no guarantee. He has given us the gift of faith, but if we abuse it, He can take it away.

According to Imam Ghazzali there are two types of worshippers that worship God.

One type are those who are motivated by the blessings of paradise

Such worshippers are likened to slave who ONLY serves his master because he will be paid at the end of the day.

The second type of worshipper is the admirable worshipper who worships God for the sake of God.

Such worshippers are likened to the person who looks upon his beloved for the sake of the beloved, not because his beloved gives him silver and gold…..but because he seeks his Beloved’s pleasure, love and nearness.

There will be different levels and grades in heaven.

Those who worship Allah sincerely for his sake are the ones who'll receive a lot MORE then beautiful hoors in the hereafter.

But one should really worry a lot more about getting there in the first place.....
