i was just wondering if it is worth reading " From my sister's lips by Naima B. Robert. "
as i was not really sure if to buy the book or not???

I was just trying to find a specific hadith and came across this book called Riyadus Saliheen. It looks pretty good, has anyone read it?

You just came across it? It is probably the most recognised book which is a compilation of ahadith from various hadith books.

edit: for a moment i thought "ah must be a salafi book hated by all others" then i saw MB's comment, something we might be able to agree on?

i started reading the sealed nectar and its AAMZZZZZZIIINNNG. the only glitch is that instead of saying umar ibn alkhattab for xample, it says umar son of alkhattab which throws me off everytime because im so used to "bin"

anyway..did you know...the main hyprocrite's name was "Abdullah". crazy...

+1 i love the Sealed Nectar. When i'm reading it, it feels like im there at the time of the Prophet ﷺ

Is he for or against sufism? His name sounds familiar.

I bought Imam Ghazali's Inner dimensions of Islamic worship, as recommended by Ya'qub and I like it 🙂

I bought this book a little while back called 'The war within out hearts' by Habeeb Quadri and Sa'ad Quadri and I think it's pretty good.

It's aimed at teenagers and covers problems such as intentions, dating, pornography, drugs, suicide, depression, abuse friends, internet, parents and more and then gives you the solutions to them; Qur'an, prayer, good company, hope etc.

They write in a very down to earth manner and aren't scholars or anything 'lecturing' you and normally I don't find these kind of books (kinda like 'self help'?) useful (ok I haven't really given them a chance) but I think this book does help. So yeah, defo recommend it.

Obviously not all those problems affect me but it's good to know and it may help you to respond to others. If you remember what it said. :oops:
