OSAMA BIN LADEN IS DEAD??

apparently, thats what the news headlines say.

Good riddance?

He has been the cause of enough deaths.

Worryingly thought just yesterday I was reading about a doomsday scenario (that was mentioned in the guantanamo bay files release by wikileaks) that he and his associates had planned for where on his capture or death they had planned to carry out a large terrorist operation on US soil.

Is what the US goverment say true, that Pakistan are incapable of finding one of the most popular faces across the world when he was in their back garden in a building estimated at over a million pounds in a small village?

Does the killing of one man justify the killing of hundreds and thousands of people and billions of pounds gone into doing so?

What next for the 'war on terror' ? More money and more killing?

If you go to Pakistan it is littered with such sites, and maybe even surrounded by high walls to:

1. keep out prying eyes.
2. to provide security.

That is what buildings there are like and if he never stepped outside, no one saw him, he would be easily kept hidden.

Tbh i don't think the whole OBL dying makes any difference to anything. These are just questions i've been seeing and hearing. Funny enough the question about Pakistan's government not being able locate him was from the US on Sky News. Lol

I just wanted to hear everyones opinions on this thing.

No doubt though that this will be the start of more occupations and more wars and a whole load of conspiracies at that.

One that seems plausible though IMO is that it is a publicity stunt for the upcoming elections. Still makes no difference to my life.

They killed him, checked his body away THEN told people. Talk about a lack of evidence :/

The whole thing just doesn't seem to make sense!
The way i see it is that... Osama Bin Laden has been wanted by America for some time.. like 10 years.. Obama needs to prove that he is making a difference.. so he came out with this news..

Still...
1. Either Osama passed away ages ago
2. America have given him luxuries and asked if they could use his name and pictures for the media
3. Or he simply still is in hiding

It appeared that they threw his body in the sea.. When infact i doubt they are any sea in Afganistan! Moreover.. there is no proper evidence and the part that is there... seems to be fake!

How could he have attained matyrdom if he supposedley killed muslims and thousands of innocents, which is an act of kufr. That's if he did and if he was indeed been killed as they say.

There are alot of idiots IMO who either praise him as if he did alot of good for muslims and carry on like he was a hero and there are others who celebrate his death thinking they have a victory against this so called 'war on terror'.

Both extremes are as stupid as each other. IMO

I really doubt that is the case.

He has been returned to the court of God for judgement, but I think he will be charged there for actions resulting in hundreds of thousands of deaths.

And for those that only count Muslim deaths - most of his victims were Muslims.

According to a wiki-leaked document, the US may have known the location of OBL since 2008.

There is a suggestion by some that they scrambled to get him after the document was leaked by wikileaks and they needed to get him before some al qaeda person read that document online and figured out that OBL was being tracked.

Now, I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but can someone explain why Saddam Hussein all but had the cruciatus curse put on him and was 'dangled' in front of the world who watched him squirm with smiles on their faces whilst OBL got some kind of dignified undercover private no-torture clean death? :S :S Uncharacteristic, much?

I don't agree with people celebrating his 'death', he's been a scapegoat for America and the rest of the major powers to keep control of the masses - through the one thing that lives in every single person - fear. That is not to say that he hasn't done anything wrong (Allah knows best) but if it was the other way around and there was wayy more media coverage on what those in power do, not only to Muslims, those who think killing Osama bin Laden was justice, would certainly have different views.

i agree with a lot that muslimeen and truthrazor have said on this topic. i've always mistrusted the media. the media is so powerful they can feed a thousand lies to the general public and they will eat it up as if it the truth. if that little voice in their head questions otherwise they will smother that voice so they can conform with the rest of the sheep out there. i've grown to hate them more since 9/11.

apparently the so called al qaeda network working with usama bin laden issued a statement confirming he was killed. if indeed he was killed, then i believe they dumped the body fast not for the respect they have for the islamic burial procedure, but because they disfigured the body to such an extent there would be worldwide fury from muslim nations if it was seen. Some media reports have mentioned this, as being stated by obama. So lets pretend no country wanted to bury him and dump his body at sea?.

It's quite clear why obama did this. His ratings are low in america right now, and election is looming, there have been accusations that he is not American born, so what could possibly act as a decoy and increase his popularity ratings-killing usama bin laden. Whether he is dead or alive the ideology lives on, there are hundreds of men who could replace usama. If the usa intelligence agency think their problems are over with usama they need to remove the word "intelligence" from their doors. Usama has been out the picture for too long, hes not released any official video, nothing if they did kill him i don't see any real purpose being fulfilled, other than revenge.
