You —

Words are a very powerful tool. They can portay understanding, and show feelings. Only if you understand them.

Some words and terms used on these forums:

[b]The Revival Specific[/b]

trev - The Revival. Not used much now.
New Forums - These forums.
Lost forums - We had forums with a few thousand posts which were lost when the database became corrupted, and I had not backed up.
Old forums - Same as lost forums, or
Old Old forums - Our [url=http://therevival.proboards18.com/]old forums at proboards[/url]. we had over 600 members and over 42,000 posts. They are currently locked.

[b]General[/b]
OBL - Osama Bin Laden.
Pull(ing) a Paxman - Asking the same question over and over again until an as=nswer is given. Not being sidelined in secondary issues.
otoh - On The Other Hand
iirc - If I Recall Correctly
lol - laughing out loud. Now mostly used to show amusement. And to show you found the comment funny.
rotfl - Rolling On The Floor Laughing. Used to show genuine laughter.

RE what PofS said. i also use revvy to talk about REvival. Trev just doesnt sound...revvy-ish.
did the older generation use to use it?
