Thats the name of the programme on BBC Three at the moment.
the guy doin the diggin is a radio presenter who himself is gay..

but he was talking to people who had been disowned by their family for coming out and one of the guys said "we are born guy, we will die gay".

Im remembering the post that someone put up on here about the muslim girl who came out and im thinking about what issues a muslim might face in such a siutation.

yes, homosexuality is haraam, but the refraining of it isnt as straightforward as refraining from lets say..alcohol because what is involved are a persons feelings, a lot more complex i'd say...(now let it be known that i dont support homosexuality before anyone thinks i do and starts ranting of on one)

what are the rulings on homosexuality under sharia law btw???

well..homosexuality, its nurture isnt? you dont believe we're born with the "gay" gene do you? so, if you're brought up in a certain kind of environment...you might end up falling for..euh..same sex.

edit: and if you ARE brought up in single sex environment, again, its all about the HOW and the environment, If there isnt modesty then it might turn sour... i'd say..modesty is the main factor here.

no i dnt believe in the born to be gay gene...because if Allah (swt) forbids it, why would man be born with the desire to partake in such activities?????? well thts my reasoning anyway....

but @PoS wasnt referring to when people actively are gay but more when people experience gay feelings. its a lot harder to control those urges i would say than it would be for someone to not drink alcohol when they have never had any to begin with. totally different story though when someones an alcoholic though lool.

seriously. they used to pretty pretty pretty much segragated then, any uncontrollable gay feelings?

its the way we act and interact with each other, the low necklines, the jokey way (even girl to girl) the cosy/cushyness etc.. etc... its nice and all, but sometimes it can get too much...

and yeah...people experience gay feelings... doesnt mean you're gay, or have to act upon these feelings...

but dnt u think that thts a lot easier said thn done for the person who actually IS experiencing gay feelings????

im sure u have a point with the cosy/cushyness thing, but not sure how big of one when most people say they have these feelings maybe even before puberty and u can be sure tht there arent any plunging necklines then! 😂

well..i would say it was first class, top of the range, best of best kinda segragation as far as segragation goes, (As it was done during the time of the Prophet (pbuh) ) i dont know about hte LEVEL, i just know this is what im aiming for, (if ever possible)

Segregation then was not total and even then, people then were brave.

Women stood up for their rights too.

widows and that couldnt. and yeah. all the ahadiths that enable us (girls) to know about this particular side of our religion. without them asking the right questions we would be lost souls
