In my and many other people's minds the current incumbent and winner from last year too.
He is the PM of Turkey.

what about others like
ahmadinijad for not bowing down to US and not fearing Israel
Dr Tahir ul Qadri for his much needed and ground breaking terrorism fatwa
Mohammed Ali Harrath- ceo islam channel- for carrying another massive succssful GPU event
Catherine Heseltine- newly appoionted mpac ceo- and Asghar Buklhari from Mpac- for being a good representative(s) for muslims in the media
i think just nominating Turkish PM is not right. So pls feel free to list personalities who u think have done Muslims and Islam proud in 2010
Standing up the US alone is not enough to win - the person also has to be in the right.
Does Ahmedinejad fit that category?

Saudi and most of the Arab world trying to eliminate Iran's nuclear programme? Is Iran going wrong; if so I see that as a Brother helping another brother...
Not really. the arab countries were also annoyed for trying to ead the arabs while not being arab...
The arab regims see Iran as a threat to them and their "esteem" and want it eliminated. Nothing to do with trying to help someone out.
Besides, they also plan to have nukes if Iran gets them.

Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan are laying the foundations of an organisation that could be like the EU, focussing on economic and cultural integration.
and unlike other leaders who publicly did not support on Iran while privately they were begging the US, as exposed by wikileaks, this did not happen with Turkey. THeir upfront policy was the same as their secret policy. No hidden begging of the US to attack Iran.
and it is not just on Iran, on most countries, in most documents, ther eis no pretend niceness in public with back stabbing in the back - Turkey comes across as mostly credible in all this while many others come across as Hypocrites.
There was a suggestion in some early cables where some turks had mentioned to the diplomats that Erdogan had secret swiss bank accounts, but it seems to not be being believed by the people and teh hearsay is seen as hearsay, so overall wikileaks has been not too bad for Erdogan.
In May there was also the flotilla which had ships linked to the humanitarian organisation in Turkey who tried to breake the Israeli/Egyptian blockade on Gaza.
GOing back to the leaked memos, the israeli ambassador was also quoted saying that he did not believe that Erdogan's attacks on Israel were political (although he did go onto say that he believed that it was due to personal hatred of Israel).
There were also more damning assessments of Turkey - a country with Rolls Royce ambitions but with the means of Rover was what one diplomat wrote.
Either way, it comes across as pretty good for Turkey and the government of Erdogan/Gul.

For those who have the audacity to vote against Prime Minister of Turkey, atleast suggest someone else?

Erdogan said the Marmara would break the Gaza blockade, and provided navy support until it got close to Israel, yes? Whereupon it was boarded and violence ensued. He is your ideal Muslim 2010 because Muslims are supposed to get other Muslims killed. I get it.

D'oh, how silly of me. Erdogan gave the impression of being a strong man. And Muslims are not setting their sights very high so you should vote for that kind of BS.

I was thinking more the september 12 referendum and his steps in transforming Turkey into a modern democratic society.
Ofcourse he and his band of merry men have been doing this for a few years now without as much recognition as they should have got, but that is a different matter.
As for the Flotilla, I rate each and every individual who tried to break the siege, a siege which I consider immoral and wrong.
The fact that Israel decided to stop the Flotilla does not mean that the intentions of those involved were wrong. I support even violence against Israeli forces if the aim is to break the siege.
On an unrelated note, the country to help the victims of the floods in Pakistan was not some oil rich arab kingdom or emirate, but Turkey. That is quite something.
It seems it also may be Turkey's involvement which will help end the quagmire in Afghanistan.

Lauren Booth is the first choice for year 2010.
She converted to Islam. Her conversion made headlines for a whole week.
She put Islam in a positive light. She cleared many misconceptions about muslims.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan is second choice as muslim of the year 2010.
He stood up to Israel. He condemned Flotila attack and recalled Turkish ambassador from Israel.
He vowed to stand by Hezbollah and help its legendary leader Hasan Nasrallah to finish Israel.
He stood by Iran. He defended Iran's right to have a nuclear program.
He made a deal with Brazil to help Iran process Uranium.
He put Islam back into secular Turkey.
He made vital reforms to bring Turkey closer to entry into E.U.
Ahmadinejad is third choice for 2010.
He is brave and right.
He even went to New York said to President Obama, lets both debate on
your TV networks so that all americans to see who is right; bring your evidence against Iran live on air if you are truthful. But Obama chickened out, the lanati kafir.

Many journalists were brainwashed into believing
that only thick backward muslm women wore the hijab.
She prove them wrong. She said I am educated and western. I am wearing one.
West assumed that hijab was forced upon women. She said no one is forcing me. I WANT to wear it.
West thought Islam was forced upon people. She said no one forced Islam on me. I CHOSE Allah freely.
There are many other biased views of Islam haters which she successfully answered.

ahmadinejad? what an embarresment! with his chairman mao jacket, and appeals for the mahdi to re-apear at the un conferance centre in ny a few years ago, i thought what a nutter, is this the type of leader we want? someone who holds a holocaust denying conference, where he wants to play games with the number of jewish people killed by hitlers gestapo/ss.
when he has overseen the fiasco of the elections in his country (i dont really care who won).
my nomination is the bengali taxi driver in new york who got stabbed/had his throat cut for declaring he was muslim, knowing full well that his coutry is at war with afgan/ iraq/.
he's the guy who makes me proud

who is jew who is hiding under his lies and anti-iran propaganda?
i know why kafirs dont like iran. iranian leaders refuse to bow before west.
as to the holocaust conference, iran invited western scholars to come and present
evidence that 6000,000 jews were gassed by Germans. the pro-israel academics chickened out.
others that came, they agreed with iran. Holocaust is kafir propaganda.
If Iran Ayatollah says Hitler killed only 50 thousand jews, not 6 million, then i would believe iran rather than the lying kafir politicians and biased anti-muslim media. lanaties.

iran has done its own research.
also a few honest western academics say 6000,000 jews did not die. its a myth.
on what evidence does illegal state of israel and its evil supporters based their claim on?
are we supposed to simply trust them and just take their word as true?
no one now trusts the west. it has lied too many time. recent example is the invasion of Iraq based on dossiers of deception about weapons of mass destructions. muslim will never again trust kafir claims.
