So its hard to resist & its harder to exist, When you can't see the truth cus it's coverd by the mist,

Exception —

they leave flowers for the dead in their cemetaries,
civilians die but nobody knows if they were even buried,
Treating life like a game, like we're blind to the pain,
When millions still fight for their right to remain,
In their homes, when theyre going down with the rain,
& the bombs fall every day from them military planes,
that swarm in their sky's, and are ending their lives,
& everyday you see the fear that lives in their minds,
But they live & they fight, see the courage in their eyes,
& it circles their minds when sit down at night,
years go by and we are still beleiving the lies?,
Why are we blind to it when the whole nation cries.

They take a minute silence to remember the losses,
& mothers leave letters for sons in mailboxes,
But they go through their days, hopin its a phase,
Whilst knowing that they are locked in a cage,
& it's hard to escape when in your mind your afraid,
any move that you make your family will pay,
So its hard to resist & its harder to exist,
When you can't see the truth cus it's coverd my the mist,
Thats caused by their lies & it's covering our eyes,
And we're all going deaf we're not hearing their cries,
Say that we're there, cus we're with them & we're strong,
But it's hard to beleive when they've bin alone for so long,

Once again, you have my mind engaged. After taking my huge leap four years ago I think I now realize that I have been distracted by the "shiny" instead of searching for the glow....what a gift you have for speaking to people's hearts...no I didn't say that correctly...what a gift you have for speaking INTO peoples hearts.
