*** GHURABAAH ***
Rasool Allaah sallaAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam said:
"Islam began as something strange, and it shall return to being something strange, so give (toobah) glad tidings to the strangers." [Saheeh Muslim]
"A believer is a stranger in this world, he is never afraid of its humiliation, and he never competes for its glory. The people are in one situation and he is in a different situation. The people are content with him, yet he is in turmoil [Literally, "tired"] with himself." [Hasan al-Basri rahimahullaah]

Al Ghurabaa?
Is that not the new (or now old) name of the AL Muhajiroon, or am I confusing it with something else?
How do we know that these shaykhs are actually shaykhs?
"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.
I really like this one.

Just in case people are interested, the hadith mentioning the ghuraba (the strangers) has two meanings that the scholars attribute to it:
1. The obvious one, that Muslims will become limited in number again in the future at some point. We are not there.
2. Islam may have been strange when it was first revealed, but that was what lead to it being adoppted and victorious over other systems. The scholars argue that the meaning of strangeness is that Muslims will still/once again have the same characteristics that will give them success like Muslims had in earlier times. We are not here either.
I suspect the aim is to make you feel isolated for some reason, but I do not know why - there are over 1.5 billion Muslims in the world.
