What do you mean "came across" ? Did you meet some affect by it, or what?

I think most of what people will consider to be the influences of black magic would be anything but.

As an example, it was mentioned on Radio Ramadan here how some person was a user of some form of narcotics, but the parents thought he was possessed.

we shouldnt make such a big deal out of it and blame everything on it. but its real and it happens. there's lots of dhikr and duahs that you can make to protect yourself from it and inshallah you'll be protected. just remember Allah (subhanahou wata'ala)'s got all the power

Someone once told me that black magic had been done on me.

As proof, he wrote my name down on a piece of paper, and told me to hold it firmly in the palm of my hand.

The paper burnt my palm.

Well, the paper turned into ash too.

I presume it must have been coated in something that ignites in such conditions.

There was this idiot on tv once. He was telling people that they had black magic and then he would read something and blow like into the screen and then say they're gna be alright now. LOL

Try to stay out of such suspicions - it could effect your iman eventually, as suspicion is a very corrosive quality.

All of those things in that list can also be due to benign, or atleast not black magic related causes. People do get ill. People do suffer hardship or feel they have hit a brick wall, or get thirsty or whatever.

Try to avoid such suspicions for your own good.

watch 'DM Digital'. They have such crap on.

I havent been the victim of black magic but i have heard many stories and know of people who have been the victims of such a horrific thing.
people have even told me about people claiming to be imaams and putting curses and black magic upon people to get them to marry into their family and do many other things.

agreed. put your trust in Allah and it should be fine. and the Quran is a pretty strong weapon. dont just make everything = black magic and dont believe everything everyone says. stick to Quran, SUnnah and trustwrothy books based on the two afore mentioned.

there are many ppl i know that claim to be ur family but are ur enemies who have done such a thing out of spite.I know what u guys are saying but not to rule out the things that have happened before. Let me tell u a little story..
Someone i know moved into their own house, married with 2 kids, everything was good. Afer a few years things started to turn sour. The atmosphere was unbearable in the house, but while outside the house everything was great. While living there the couple separated and the wife was still living in the same house. Things got worse and worse so she moved out and now is still doing the same job as she was while living in that house. But now she is not struggling financially. So what do u think happened there?
