Can you analyse this situation???

Isha Al-Maghribi

Ok, so I got sacked a couple of days ago and I’m not proud of it. I didn’t know what the exact purpose was, but I was very curious about it. All I remember is , I go in to work one day, and the boss is there, “so how was your holiday?”.
"It was fine, thanks".
“Did you go for any occasion?” “Yeah, a wedding”. “who’s wedding?”
“Mine”
“hahaha, you’re such a joker”
“o…kay”
“are you being serious?”
“Yes.” Then he goes all “why didn’t you tell me?” “Sorry, I didn’t really think it was relevant.”
“I’m your boss!”
“well, you didn’t ask!”
“Oh, it’s my fault now, is it. Out!”
I was shocked. “what?!”
“Go on, OUT! You don’t need to come anymore!” I still didn’t see what I did wrong. I leave.
He Didn’t even give me a reason, so I was really narked about that. I thought of writing a apology letter, but I had no idea what I was apologising for, Then, two days ago, he called me, said he ’wanted to talk’. I went. He just basically said “I’m sorry, and I’m lucky you didn’t sue me…” He just kept apologising over and over again. Asked if I wanted the job back. I said No. Then, I was about to leave and he says “I don’t want you to remove your symbol of Islam, but tell me, Are you blonde?” I reply “yes”. “He looks down and says “That explains a lot.”

I really didn’t understand what he was talking about, and then he smiles and says “Learn how to take a hint”. And, it hurt really badly, because I had no idea what he was on about. And, I’m sure he was calling me dumb. I mean, I’ve never thought I was exactly clever, but I never thought I was exactly dumb either. And if he wanted me to ’take the hint’ that he wanted to sack me so bad, he could have said. After all, he was the boss.
And, I didnt apply for the job either, The twerp saw me outside once and he asked me if i could work for him. All day, I sat there; listening about his quarrels with his Mother and how she wanted him to marry a Jewish girl, but he didnt want to, yadda,yadda,yadaa...
I didn't do anything, he didnt let me do anything.I used to listen to his problems and stuff; but thats all I did. I think that was the reason he asked me. So he could share his problems with someone and I had no problems listening to his problems.

So, I’m standing there, thinking what the hell is wrong with this man. He says “Don’t think too hard; you’re going to hurt yourself”. I just looked at him, gob-smacked. “Did you call me hear to apologise or humiliate me?” Then he says ashamedly “I’m sorry. You’re not thick as a plank, you’re innocent, you’re naive.” One minute, he’s being Mr. Mean-Guy, and then all Mr Nice-Guy. I’m about to leave, and he says “Next time , take the hint, Blondie”.

Since then, I’ve been ‘hurting myself’ by ‘thinking too hard’ about what the hell does he mean? Did he have a Jinn in him or something? Was something possessing him? It‘s like he was fighting himself. Why would he be so mean? And, then why would be all nice all of a sudden? Does anyone understand this situation?
Sorry, I wouldn;t put it on here, but I'm not planning on telling my family either, but it's eating me up inside. I wasn't a lazy assistant either; I did everything he asked me to do. So, tell me what went wrong, and what did I do for him to hate me so much.

And promptly forgot.

What a dick.

You're a straight-talking person and he's a smart-arse. If you want to take action you have ample grounds. I feel sorry for him, I know that I would advise him to take a course in personal integrity, and a law-suit might be as effective.

He liked you...that's my first reaction, explains why he got so upset.

based on this theory, he called you blondie coz you didnt pick up that he liked you.
and he "sacked" you coz he was upset you got married.
and he was being so contradictory coz he likes you but is pissed coz well..you aint available no more right?

poor dude..

ANYWAY

stay away and dont go comforting him...

Ewwwwwwwwww, can you try from a different perspective?
He is...well, was my boss.I'm 100.1% sure he didn't see me in that way.
...
One second, what you're saying makes sense, but then why would he sack me and then humiliate me and call me dumb and all that if he liked me?
If you like someone you'd care about their feelings. You wouldn't harm them.
...Plus, he was always talking about this other doll he liked.
And, he knew I had children. So he would have known I was with someone
...
You make a lot of sense and are quite logical,Lilly/The Power of Silence.
Can you see a logical theory?
...
He's right, I'm dumb at times(, which is why I'm asking you). I just don't like a guy telling me that I am.

A lot of guys seem to do that - not all guys of course but many of the ones i've come across do (well apart from the sacking thing)

To make you jealous? Maybe he thought you weren't with your partner even though you had kids (or maybe he thought he'd be a homewrecker?)

I thought Moniker meant nick name, so i figured the last bit was a reference to her nick name containing the last prayer of the day, i.e the one at night.

But I dunno how that would connect to her being a 'troll'

And how do you know it was a male who said it?

Umm, ok. Big accusation.
Why would I cause trouble and why would I lie? Is it in your benefit or mine?
None, I guess.

Omg, I've actually shared my problems on here; which believe me, I don't share with anyone. Like, no'one. There's not even one person in this world, who I can trust so much; which is why I turn to another source of guidance. Even, I can't act all that powerful at times.
And, if asking for help means I am a so-called 'troll', Okay, then.

Joie de Vivre — Tue, 2 Nov 2010 - 09:17

It was some anonymous coward who made the accusation, which is very low. Can't say the thought hadn't crossed my own mind but I don't fancy having a weird argument about it, I'll treat you as for real and say Muslims are just diverse like that.

Salaam

He likes you. Not joking. He probably had a crush on you for months.

He is damn lucky you didn't sue! Don't be stressing. I get the feeling you're straight up if a bit naive, and he read to much into your 'niceness'. His fault not yours. A P45 is a pretty big toy to throw out of the pram!

Why did it cross your mind?

And @ Isha, I wasn't saying you were a troll, I was talking about what that message could have meant.

And also, bit confused. Why, if you wouldn't tell this to close people, would you be okay with putting it here? All content is public on TheRevival
