The Biggest Islamic Conference of 2010 took place at the Global Peace & Unity 2010 (GPU)at the Excel Centre in London on 23/24th October.
There were International scholars, nasheed artists and comedians aswell as a Marriage event, Art exhibition and fun for the whole family.
It was a great to launch Issue 17 of The Revival Magazine at the GPU and meeting so many people was fantastic.
A big thanks to everyone that met us at The Revival stall and especially those that joined the team and want to help The Revival become the voice of the Muslim youth.
Make sure you check the photos from the GPU on our Blogs page.

Yup West London (My name was spelt wrong!)
Jihad of the Nafs (The Struggle of the Soul)
ASA. WAS QUITE DISAPPOINTED WHEN I WENT TO GPU FOR THE FIRST TIME. NOT WELL ORGANISED THE PROGRAMME FOR SPEECHES AND NASHEEDS DID NOT GO TO SCHEDULE.
THROUGHOUT THE EXHIBITION CONSTANTLY BEING APPROACHED AFTER A COUPLE OF SECONDS TO DONATE MONEY FOR CHARITY. ITS GOOD TO GIVE TO CHARITY AND I UNDERSTAND THEIR WORK. I MYSELF AM A VOLUNTEER FOR MUSLIM HANDS.
I found that too - but saying that (as you prob know), it's difficult getting people to give money, even a penny found at the bottom of their bag or something. After listening to their reasons (it's polite) i told them i was a volunteer for Muslim Hands and they were like 'Oh' and sort of left me standing there.
