India planning of games was a complete disaster. it distroyed the countrys image.

swimmers falling sick in the pool where somebody has been peeing.
rats infested apartments where dog shit was found on the water taps.
leaking rooms and tracks not laid for athlested.

Its not been a total disaster - and some of the venues have been describes as excellent and better than past events etc.

Saying that, the problems in india are not about the commonwealth games - there are bigger problems that need to be fixed and hopefully they will be.
