Are we allowed to Dance?

From the Cha-Cha-Cha to Ballroom, from Hip-Hop to Belly Dancing - So are we allowed to dance?

Given, we're not allowed to dance in front of members of the opposite sex but what about for ourselves? Like are we allowed to dance in our rooms or join a dance class?

It's kinda nice to go against the mainstream, think out of the box, don't just agree with what everyone else says, unless ofcourse it makes sense and is in compliance with the quran, hadith and shariah.
Is it necessary to always be serious on forums? I don't remember reading that anywhere.
I try to be fair whenever possible, atleast you don't think I'm a jerk, I can live with that. Thanx.

You make them serious by demanding that people respond.

Chill a little.

WHen it comes to religion, making a mockery is serious business.

You can let your hair down without making a mockery of what Islam allows.

If it was as simple as that people wouldn't be advised to fast or marry in order to fight zina. Also total segregation is not possible so they would still see ghayr mahram women.

Eazy, like how I got married, your mum and sisters ask around from people if they know of any decent gals wanting to get married, after a while you get a looooooong list, then you go out and start seeing them one by one, if you like one you propose. Simple
