Quantifying faith.

I'm going to come back to this myself, but what do you think when you see this term if anything at all?

Can faith even be quantified?

There are actins that are a part of faith that can be quantified, however they are not the same as faith itself.

Someone that prays five times a day, fasts the whole month of ramadan and does countless good things probably will have strong faith, but this is not guaranteed.

At the same time the people who may not do all that but still have strong faith. Ofcourse by not meeting the actions requirements, they will also be sinning, but that is often enough different enough from faith (if the people acknowledge what is wrong and what is right even if they cannot or do not always follow those acknowledgements).

well sometimes you say you're faith has gone down, that means you must have a certain level that you consider "enough" faith. And that might be considered quantifying.

Even that is a feeling or fear and you generally quantify it by what thoughts you are having or wht actions you are doing.

Not really quantifiable IMO.

There is also an idea that faith is a constant - either you have it or not and any tak about how strong or weak it is is about something different.
