Since all the issues are online, I thought it would be a good idea to let people on one of the largest (if not THE largest) Muslim forums know about it.
So far the only response is from a chap calling himself MuslimSoulja:
The Revival is a misguiding organisation and should completley be ignored. I warn all members not to read this magazine or support tbe organisation its self.
It is written in bold and probably a larger font size so it must be true. Beware.
(If others are on other forums or websites or groups, feel free to post a message to them about the new issue. It would especially be helpful if the people who are on the The Revival Facebook group post on there too to let people know...)

But why would people think that? :S

#Before you look at the thorns of the rose , look at it's beauty. Before you complain about the heat of the sun , enjoy it's light. Before you complain about the blackness of the night, think of it's peace and quiet... #
Yeah, when Muslims get the short end of thes tick I bet all the people dissing Salma Yaqoub will be at the front of the line criticising the people for opressing Muslims, but when they get the chance to actually participate, make sure Muslims are represented and that laws of oppression are not passed, they will kick up a fuss.
Hypocritical morons.
If you do not take part in the system, how can you complain afterwards if your sisters become opressed, howc an you complain if they cannot wear the hijab if you never stood up for them when it matters? How can you complain about slaughtered meat being baned when you had a chance to make a difference, you refused to do so?
All the best,

Hmmmmm I guess it is - you smoothie you - putting an end to my negativity!
I do think that the revival is well intentioned, sincere Muslims trying to do what they can for Islam and I salute them for that! I am just a little uncomfortable with the subnarrative in much of the content of secularism and modernism - problematic streams of thought... If there was a basis of traditional Islamic thought, I'd be all for it and would even help distribute it in my area and encourage people to read it and support it...

something positive about the revival - oh my God
have at look at the previous issues on line and let me know what you think?
on the issues of voting, identity, understanding of nationalsim and the usual khilafa/HT issues we wont agree but other issues I'm sure we will.
I beleive your views on what you think secularism and modernism is will be different to mine and the scholars that I discuss with up and down the country.
that page flip think is from the pdf version (go underneath the big image, click the magazine to see it full screen). do you mean for download?

well, what can I say - some of my coolness can rub off on things that I do. I try not to let it show too much though.
The world is not ready for my coolness.
