Salam! and welcome to Revival!
Well I am Sawsan, i came on this website quite a while ago but only recently being coming often, I find this website really useful and the people there are really friendly and helpful and i hope you will too
Need anything, just ask; tribune, forum, personal messages..
euh...im really bad with first introductions so i'm just going to stop before i say something i'll regret,
hope to see you active on therevival!
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
Salam alikum sawsan.
shukran for your reply. Wow what to ask so many things. I am trying to learn more about the correct dress for a muslim sister ( i am shia) dont know whether i already mentioned this. I know very little about hijab i.e how to wear dos and donts for a muslim sister, the list is endless. What part of the country are you from if you dont mind me asking are you a brother or sister ? feaman allah, masalam
salam alikum brother. thankyou for your post, i beleive there are many muslims in our community there are a few shia who have been a most wonderfull help to me with my journey into Islam. Any help or knowledge you can share with me is always greatly appreciated. feaman allah, masalam
Salaams,
i'm a sister, from the east midlands,
i've only recently began wearing the hijab myself so have researched into it alot, ANything in particular you want to know then well, feel free to ask.
I am sure that the sisters will be able to answer better (and there are a few accounts of converts here too who maybe also be able to help, but not sure how many are still actively aware of this place...).
I have no idea how the shia dress code differs and I suspect it doesn't, but the aim is to "be modest".
(the partisan part of me asks what made you choose shia Islam, but that is probably a rude and innapropriate question since from the outside the diferences between things may seem negligible compared to people born Muslims who are potentially more likely to quarrel over smaller issues.)
