Why you spitting rhymes that are misguiding my generation?

Exception

my pen writes when im depressed because i never slept,
Regreting every time there was a promise that i never kept.
Wake up on a morning, see the same world, the same hate.
Stay up every night writing so that it gets late,
Thoughts fill my mind build a maze in my own head,
I can't sleep anywhere not even in my own bed
Every way i look i see the end of something i beleive,
But i carry on because i said that i would never leave,
Flows, fill my head so i write it out upon a page,
i dont see many true people around in this day and age,
Rappers come around and show the youth how to end up caged,
But you won't ever see me with them standin on a stage,
Tell me what you beleive to be the hip hop that u know?
Trust true hip hop was never about the hoes or the doe.
Lowkey said it, he's sicker so he spread it,
Spoke the truth, i saw it ona page so i went an read it.
Listened to it after it was spat on a track,
Realised i didnt know real hip hop it was a fact.

Lil wayne, kissed a man he called baby and daddy,
Does anybody else beleive that to be sickly and madly.
I spit these rhymes because i wanaa see a change,
Change the ways that they keep the truth out of range.
Music's an influence on everybody in some way.
With me it hit me hard so its something i display.
As a young kid it influenced everything i did,
Still a teenager music built a wall and behind it i hid,
I was like the other youths, blind and naive.
Trusting every word i heard spat and i could see.
Then i dug deeper, this was wild it wasn't rightt.
Circumstances in life lead to me wanting to fight.
what these rapper on the tv were telling the youth.
It wasn't even right, not logical, no truth.
Logic was a true man, Lowkey spit his heart out.
The truth was the truth there was something about.

Took me by suprise, my outlook took a new turn
Rappers spitting truth influenced evrything i learnt.
Maybe.it was wrong, but it got me on the right path,
Back to the right place like following a footpath.
Praying my salah, and practising islaam,
the key to my anger it's what kept me calm.
In the long run my life will be insignificant,
But if i could change one view it would be signifcant,
Because inoe how it affects the youth of today,
As far as even changing every word that they say.
I could spit all day, no difference would be made,
I guess there'll be a day wen my talent starts to fade.
But if one person understood what it is that i say,
Then i wud be proud i changed the world in a way.
Start a revoloution and fight for the truth.
Stop music's wrong take, from misguiding the youth.

A little something i wrote. inspired by Lowkey.
