Yellowcard - Believe
"Think about the love inside the strength of heart
Think about the heroes saving life in the dark
Climbing higher through the fire
Time was running out
Never knowing you weren't going to be coming down alive
But you still came back for me
You were strong and you believed
Everything is gonna be alright
Everything is gonna be alright
Everything is gonna be alright
Be strong believe

You me at six - The liar and the lighter
I'll stick around and watch this town fall down to it's knees
You can pray the day that you hope is coming round real soon
I will run and stay away in a place that I don't know well of
You can chose a different song that you will soon love
30 seconds to Mars- Buddha for Mary.
He said, "Can you hear me, are you sleeping?"
She said, "Will you rape me now?"
He said, "Leave the politics to mad men"
She said, "I believe your lies"
He said, "There’s a paradise beneath me"
She said, "Am I supposed to bleed?"
He said, "You better pray to Jesus"
She said, "I don’t believe in god"
A very strange song xD I don't like 30 Seconds to Mars much though, but that song is very deep.

Kanye west in this song is talking about all the big vision he had of his life about getting rich and materialistic and then 'i gotta get with it' i have to face reality and see that everything is not about being material because it cant bring you happiness... i mean two sentence had that much meaning to them ,,,just kinda made me think about the song more.

Wanted Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi
I walk these streets, a loaded six string on my back
I play for keeps, 'cause I might not make it back
I been everywhere, and I'm standing tall
I've seen a million faces an I've rocked them all
I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride
I'm wanted dead or alive
I'm a cowboy, I got the night on my side
I'm wanted dead or alive
And I ride, dead or alive
I still drive, dead or alive
Dead or alive
What? Bon jovi rocks on occasion.

Bon Jovi rocks a lot of the time!! I don't think the above is anything really great... just my opinion, but I do like a lot of their stuff.
And Rawry, I love this thread!
If I had twenty million dollars in a vault somewhere baby
It wouldn't matter anyway
Cause the doctor told me that I'm dying slowly
So I guess I got to love you while I'm here
I like these lyrics in a John Legend track. They remind me a lot about our deen. They are very very true - our state in this stage of our souls 'journey' is that we are all dying slowly. It really struck me when I heard that line in the song.
That last line reminds me of a quote I read in a charity letter about helping our ummah, something about doing any good deeds while we can, as we won't pass this way again.
This next bit reminds me how in this dunya there are many many signs to remind us how this life is short, temporary. How even just turning on the TV the reality is there for us to see...
the news said
the sky is falling,
the globe is warming,
my countries waring,
leaders are lying,
time is running lower and lower,
baby, nowhere to go
I love this next line, it reminds me about how our ultimate goal is to attain Paradise... before that trumpet is blown...
we just better land on the stars
before they come crashing down

- Hi Barbie!
- Hi Ken!
- You Wanna Go For A Ride?
- Sure, Ken!
- Jump In!
- Ha Ha Ha Ha!
I'm A Barbie Girl In The Barbie World
Life In Plastic, It's Fantastic
You Can Brush My Hair, Undress Me Everywhere
Imagination, Life Is Your Creation
Come On, Barbie, Let's Go Party
That much is quotable. Just. Together with its success it explains a lot about this life. (I sometimes imagine it as a blues song, sung by Buddy Guy or John Lee Hooker. When I'm not too busy.)

Doest Mean Anything by Alicia Keys
Quote:
Used to dream of being a millionaire, without a care
But if I’m seeing my dreams you aren’t there
’cause it’s over
that just wont be fair
darling,
rather be a poor woman living on the street,
no food to eat,
cause i don't want no body if i have to cry.
cause it's over
when you said goodbye!
all at once...
i had it all
but
it doesn’t mean anything
now that you’re gone
from above seems i had it all
but it doesn’t mean anything
since you’re gone
