before using this site didnt really think i could have 'online friends' but now i kinda think differently, and u can care for strangers i mean i care for people i know online but may never have met before so then goes the question what really is a stranger..hmmm

a friend is someone u can share feelings with, care for, discuss problems with share happy times and experiences with and even family members can also be friends not just people outside the family................ plus friends get u gifts on your birthday 😉 lool

because i am very good friends with someone i met on here and we've never met in real life.

Strangers are weird people who ask you to get into their cars and want to hold your hand. I remember in year 3, this policewoman coming in and showing us what strangers can do.

why aren't i a stranger?

People can get attached to a toaster, to characters in works of fiction or even historical figures long gone. I don't see why the same cannot happen to real people who are online.

Question is will the people be the same as they are offline? Could your friendship carry over into the real world?

I doubt it and I also think it may be inadvisable to even try.

hmm thats very true but only deluded people would call those fictious people etc their friends...

theres this girl in my year who in yr 7 said she's gna be on the new harr potter film and that she's dating harry potter (not daniel radcliffe but HP) and that his parents were her god parents (she's muslim)!!!

poor girl still gets cussed about that and a lot of other stuff she made up lol

I don't know what to call those people that i regularly talk to online, tbh. :/

i mean i feel they're always gna be strangers until you've met them and actually get to know them

But then some of them i know "quite well" and i feel "close" to them.
