Salaam
I have noticed recently that there is an increase of sectarianism and speaking ill of the ulema. This will not be tolerated on this forum. By all means discuss issues of Aqaid with respect and in light of Quran n Sunnah by i dont see that at the moment. Its simply cussing scholars and ridiculing others beliefs.
Its no coincidence that since a certain new member has joined we have had these sectarian and tit for tat posts on issues which only the Ulema really should be discussing.
This is a reminder; if it is not taken seriously then I will take action.
Jazakhallah
Wassallaam
I think its fun. throwing insults is better than ice cream.

Why do you have to take action?
What about freedom of speech?
Is it not better to get things out in the open where they can be contested and maybe sorted out?
I don't think you should ban people from saying things, i think you should ban them from maybe saying things a certain way.
In any case, People can defend themselves, the people here are mostly quite mature and i think i'm learning loads i didn't know before.

The Revival is going retro...haven't seen sectarianism like this in a few years.
Gentleness and kindness were never a part of anything except that it made it beautiful, and harshness was never a part of anything except that it made it ugly.

well Awlia is quoting hadiths and quoting from scholars so is that not ok ... and he is trying to tell people what he thinks is right and giving supporting evidence also.
and calling them kafir.
is that ok?
no i agree awlia has to calm down abit and change the way in which he is trying to educate people about sufi and berelvis etc
educate?
yh he believes that sufi and berelvi practices are wrong and is just trying to educate us better about the rights and wrongs ... nothing wrong with doing that he is just doing his part to help. yet he could go about it in a better way ... lol reminds of how i used to debate with berelvis in college i finally just came to conclusion they already know what i think lol they just dont want to listen and implement.
May Allah guide us all on straight path , ameen.
well brother if you are directing it towards me then say it directly no need to sy it indirectly just say it openly no problem in that.
As for the way i speak i agree with you i can speak in a better manner, without silly insults, so inshallah i will improve on that.
And to brother noor when did i call anyone kafir here? to many things i said to brother you (may he forgive me) you can ask him if i ever called him a kafir, i wouldnt call anyone here kafir as that would give the right call me a kafir back, i didnt call anyone kafir here, i said doing certain practises may turn you into one, like the qadianis. But i didnt call anyone kafir here.
Why do you think everyone's a brother?
SBF and Noor are both girls.
And before you say "apologies brother" So am I :doubt:

i said out of all the things i said to him i DIDNT call him a kafir
yes you did.
I like awlia. He livens the place up.
If there was one request I could make of him (apart from not duplicating topics, losing the rudeness and not cutting and pasting long articles without providing a source...) it would be better formatting of paragraphs.
I really do struggle reading long paragraphs. 3 or 4 lines max per paragraph - just break them up and it becomes much easier to read.
Thanks.

well i agree, this forums was dead before i came
i would but it has been deleted.
you called my teacher shaykh ul islam dr muhammad tahir ul qadri a kafir.
he is a kafir, do you want me to show you the evidence of that aswell. He is viewed as the ghulam qadiani of this era.
may Allah forgive you and have mercy on your soul. ameen.
no, it means "islamic scholars".

fine then i didnt, want to show it, but i'll just have to do that aswell:
he celebrates christmas, christmas the day christians believe to be the day of bith of jeseus and celebrate that he is the son of...... he actually celelbrates that day, nauzubillah, the day which we veiw as nothing but haram, he celebrates that, tell me what can be a better example then this to show his a kaffir, celelbrating something totally haram.
i think that alone is enough, i can show more, but their is no need of that. May allah bless anwar awlaki bilal philips, yusuf estes and the others fro saving this ummah by giving them as a counter to people like qadri, nazim and other sufi deviants.
What did the prophet do when he came across the ashura? He said that Muslims had MORE right to it.
Prophet Isa (ra) is our prophet. He was delivering the righteous deen.
As for celebrating christmas etc, makes me uncomfortable, but as long as the intention is correct, it is not kufr.

isa AS is our prophet who was not even born in december, and what has ashura to do with christmas? nothing, and christmas is seen valid then why dont you just celebrate hanaka aswell, infact go to the synangog, and church on sundays, if someone is doing christman already what different does it make for the others, muhammad SAW says:
“Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” (Narrated by Abu Dawood)
allah says
“O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Awliyaa’ (friends, protectors, helpers), they are but Awliyaa’ of each other. And if any amongst you takes them (as Awliyaa’), then surely, he is one of them… “[al-Maa’idah 5:51]
“O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies (i.e. disbelievers and polytheists) as friends, showing affection towards them” [al-Mumtahanah 60:1]
muslims are not allowed to celebrate anything else other then the 2 eids, and especially those of the other religion, and you celebrte it, it is a day of fullshirk, everything about that day is against islam and you celebrate that of the kafir, even strict chirtians view it as haram and youas a muslim do it, how low can a muslim get to even think its ok to celebrate it whether the intention is something else.
Christmas the day of shaytan and you think as long as intention is good its ok?
First of all the celelbrating anythingof other religion is haram, and christmas is the worst of the bunch.
every friday is an eid.
and "you as a muslim do it" is a big allegation. Did I day I celebrate it? get off your high horse and actually read what is written.
I didn't even say that it was right, just that it is not (necessarily) kufr.

didnt mean "you" but in a way of saying if you as muslim, meaning those who are muslim if they do it then.
And yes it is kufr.
