Re: Bahai faith
PS the reason I put the reasoning down is because I am a firm believer in logic and sense. I do not think Allah (swt) will create the world, the rules etc in a way that is nonsensical or illogical. However, there can be times where I do not understand or am plain wrong.

Agreed.
I may be going completely off the tangent,
But, why then is the translation of some parts of the Qu'ran ambiguous?
Re: Bahai faith
Its not always, but if the translator is not careful, there may be phrases in there that are translated out of the context, the reason for a verse being revealed may be important in understanding its meaning or some words could have multiple meanings which the translator may be unaware of and only translate to one of those.
They are good to read, but there is always a chance that you will not fully understand as instead of reading the Qur'an, you are rading a subset of the meaning as understood by the translator.
The few times I have read verses with meaning, I have found it easier to have the arabic alongside - not because I understand much arabic, but then you can see how the original words flowed.
Re: Bahai faith
Just came across this article where it is suggested that one of the founders had the opinion that anyone who did not agree with him or his religion was illegitimately born and should question he own mother as to who the father is...
...and that the people of Africa are "cows in the shape of human beings" while American Africans were considered more civilised.
Re: Bahai faith
In fairness, Admin, the article you link to makes a weak accuasation (quoting a founder isn't a good attack), ignoring the meaning of what the guy said. I still like Bahai.
Re: Bahai faith
I know next to nothing about them. Just when I came across that page, I thought of this topic.
Re: Bahai faith
Bahai faith is a plot by kafirs. They hate Islam. They created Bahai faith to damage Muslims. Just like Qadiyanis were made by British empire in India, the Bahais were created in Iran. Both plots were cooked up 19 century. Lanat on Bahabis and Qadiyanis. Lanat on their creators. These are kafir movements made up by kafirs of west. Kafirs always want to destroy Islam. They keep creating new groups to damage Islam. But Allah (swt) will forever protect Islam. Kafirs seeds will never bear fruit. Lanat on the enemies of Islam.

Its all conjecture but it makes sense to me.[/quote]
Good.
