That sounds buuuufffffff.

Then again I went to a proper Syrian restaurant last night and had all the dishes that I miss from Damascus. I think the waiter was impressed when I ordered cos I chose the BEST things on the menu!

i used to eat it a lot, but only cos it cos 20p. I got so sick of it I don't think I could actually ever eat one ever again!

I meant the specific Syrian dishes, rather than generic arab food like shawarma or hummus.

Yes, thank you for mentioning those "specific syrian dishes" so others could try them out too. You are so generous.

There are very few Syrian restaurants. Tons of Lebanese takeaways, but few Syrian ones. So there's no point cos no1 would be able to get the food unless they go to in Shepherd's Bush.

But I recommend , and and of course proper

thanks.

It wasn't quite a mistake.

I feel like I've got back to my normal self.

Just my tummy is annoyed with the fact that it has nothing in it.

Main Lesson: eat less at Iftar in the first place.

sweet eggs, toast and tea. scrumptious.

I had a proper fry up for sahoor this morning.
Fried bread, eggs, beans. beef bacon and sausages - (all halal though!)

This means she is on course to put on some weight in the near future.

puked up after a light iftari, had a lie down and then never woke up for sehri, so surprised how normal the day is going.

Not really. I'm a skinny girl with with a fat man's appetite.

I eat light at dusk but heavy at dawn. It makes me sleep like a baby.

1 Roti with Sallon with 4 dates to end the day.
2 Parratay with 3 Eggs with 1 large Tea to begin the day.

Over indulging in ramadan is no joke...my head was telling me about someone she new who had a cardiac arrest during ramadan, cos he had over indulged in the sweet stuff that is available here in Ramadan.

Everything here, is dripped and covered in syrup and the sweet shops here are sparkly and pretty, its kinda hard NOT to indulge...

Well, not long to go there.

I always want to over indulge, but then physical limits constrain me to what is "normal" (which may not be normal for everyone else).

I "allow" myself evenings or weekends where I over indulge...usually on a friday night or the entire weekend. Buts thats on the rule, that I will be good all week.

However, since coming to cairo, I've been over indulging every night after tarawih prayer. Thank goodness this is a hot country

roti & spinach.

halwa, tea and then two toast with honey.

A peach, banana and 2 cups of water.
