Islamic and Muslim Discussion forums (non muslims welcome too)

The Revival Forums are a discussion forum allowing young muslims to discuss islam, muslims and the world in general. Feel free to take part as you wish, read ongoing and past discussions, or start new ones.

I noticed something yesterday - this site has what I would consider as awesome Search Engine Optimisation - SEO for short.

I had always suspected this due to the simplicity of design etc, but after I created a topic on another site and within a few days, the first Google link to that site apart from the actual site was to the topic over here.

However when many people search of islamic online communities, they may not have heard of The Revival, and may search for terms like "Islamic forum" or "Muslim community" or "Muslim Discussion Forum" - none of which are associated with The Revival - even though they all help describe this place.

So, call this a little bit of subterfuge. Let's see if googling "muslim discussion forums" in a few days actually has us in the listings - we are not so far as these forums in search terms are not seen as Muslim discussion forums, but "The Revival Forums" - something that would only be searched for by people who know of The Revival.

To make this topic useful for others too, feel free to talk about what other forums you like.

(If you go to here, the title will also show as "Muslim Discussion Forum" now, instead of just "Forum" as before.)

EDIT - I have changed the title a little. And this topic is already on Google's first page if you search for Muslim discussion forums. That is a big jump from not even being on the list from before.

lovin it.

does it make that much of a difference?

"ThiS WoRlD Iz A PrIsOn 4 A BeLiVeR AnD PaRaDiSe 4 A NoN-BeLiVeR.........."

Yes - because no where does it say that this is a discussion forums that muslims frequent. That is implied and while humans understand that, Google and other search engines do not. They need to be told such things as they do not understand subtext.
