Do we need to commence three days of mourning for this?

No. I like Tevez but he and his agent played hardball. I am concerned that he didn't give that press conference in English, it explains a lot about the communication issues he reports. I wouldn't be surprised if he entirely missed Fergie's attempts to call and text him.

As for Ronaldo, good about that. Great talents were being made to play around him and I question his motivations throughout this season, even if he did extremely well on paper. I was able to get to a lot of the matches and was often stupefied by his intransigence around the ball.

The squad is too big. It isn't a team any more. Barcelona taught us that. Thank you Barcelona.

One thing I liked about Tevez is that he had heart - he fought for the ball, he played like there was no tomorrow. Personally, I prefer that over skill.

Maybe they did cross communicate, but I still see this as a loss.

It will e interesting to see how things turn out next season - see how th team jells now that they do not have Ronaldo there and to see if they will be more "teamly".
