i don't think seraphim is sad. What made me happy 5 years ago may not make me so happy today. Before i got married one of my nephews made me extremely happy, he was the only reason i'd come home happily. I would wake up early sterilse the bottles, clean him up and feed him, whilst parents ran around like wild chickens. Today i still love him, but obviously my children come first now, because they must that's life.

But one thing i've come to appreciate with maturity-family, even though i have a love hate relationship with them, i can't live away from them. I've moved towns and i had the best of everything except my family, life was so empty and somewhat meaningless.

So for me family, meaning siblings, parents,sister in laws, nephews, and of course my children, and husband. Cousins are not included.

lots of other things make me happy.

Well today:

* an early start with the sun shining through the window
* eating breakfast with everyone happy around me
* then I made an ice cream and gobbled it up (well really, I put three scoops of vanilla ice cream on a scone)
* then looking through some pictures from yesterday
* Planning my summer holiday
* Spent loads of time outside - now have a sunburnt nose
* Food
* Making lists and then making lists of the stuff that's already on the original list to get the original list finished (I'm a messy organized person)
* Talking to people even after I'm really tired 🙂

All these made me happy today 🙂

There's way more stuff- like the little things (e.g. when my pen runs out and brushing my teeth) and then the other stuff like:
watching movies, reading books (just finished reading Ice Moon by an author with a three word name), Food, daydreaming about things I want to do, reading the Qu'ran, praying, listening/reading to Hadeeths, listening to Hamza Yusuf lectures, making my parents happy, spending time with my brothers, watching cartoons 😃 , writing, sleeping, dreaming in my sleep, If I had paint: what shall I paint on my ceiling? Maybe a comic strip...what colour paint?, getting my ears pierced, visiting zoos, recycling, feeling tired, cartoons, lighthouses, the beach, talking to myself, when my thoughts make sense, walking (I don't mean exercise walking), picture books, drawings by Quentin Blake, poems by Roald Dahl, children,

I think I'm blabbering on now 🙂 But that's another thing that makes me happy

I am. And I can walk with my roots (I drink milk now, so they're really strong). How's the Volcano though? Still dormant? 🙂

I just looked and read my post again...didn't realize that I said cartoons twice, I think they're worth mentioning twice...why not? I was lost in thought while I was writing it though. 😃
